I think i need to add a note on my post. what i mean is. get into a IT field, then start working on getting your certs, yes you are correct, you do need them, but you don't need one to find a low level IT job. ( or to start at the bottom). but as you go up the ladder you will need to get certs. Plus some company's will pay for your training and certs, if they see your hard work, and have a commitment to the company. so if i gave the wrong impression on my post I'm sorry. It is possible to get your foot in the door, with out one..
