why add an oxidizer when you can just turn uup the boost? same principle, add an oxidizer (o2, No2, whatever) and then you can add more fuel. just invest in a bigger turbo and your set for a long time, no need to refill (except the gas ) anyway, just my .02

i didn't know which one bolted on, that's what i was askin about too. if the 5.0 fits, then i'll use that. BTW, is that the 5.0 mustang that was pushrod? or is there a new one that we use? interesting side note: i know a GIRL that used to have a 5.0 supercharged pulling 10.* 1/4s she is sexy and hot and she is taken -

i just read damn near the ENTIRE FAQ. that seems like a pretty bad a** product, and with the complete system (not assembled) at ~$170 that ain't bad!!! plus you don't need a computer if you use the megaview. i think i am going to pick one of those up . cheap, effective, and easy to use. Hmmm.... woohoo!!! (only problem i saw was what it said about your speedo, tach, etc not working with it. i forget exactly what it said, something like that you would have to re-wire them or use different sensors. i don't want to go back to read it again, but it's in the FAQ) -

nice, so i get a 4.6L TB and it bolts right up? then drill and mount the injector bungs (or whatever they're called) and get a fuel rail, injectors, FPR, and the ECU and i should be good? -

in regards to the pictures in this post: http://www.starquestclub.com/index.pl?boar...;num=1081878928 does anything need to be done to the manifold besides the injector mounts and a new (4.6l?) mustang TB? any help? hook it up, i want to do this soon!!!! -
amen DJpowerHaus! that's what i'm talking about! do you drive the same way Keiichi Tsuchiya does? i don't! i have some videos of him driving, yes he's good. but like dj said, YOU have to drive the car! i never experienced understeer unless i wanted to on my aw11(1G) mr2!!! in fact, the starion gives me more trouble than the mr2. granted, i was drinking when i hit that curb. :'( so DON'T EVER DRINK AND DRIVE!!!! (i was young, don't tell me about not drinking and driving, i don't do it anymore). P.S. it was a bad a** race though!)not drag, road race. through the mean streets of LB at like 2:30. nobody on the road, which is good, and the only damn reason i hit the curb was because i had a vacuum leak and it bucked in the corner and kicked ou the rear end DAMMIT! my wheelbearings are messed up still i think.

go for the twincharger man! i had an mr2 up until yesterday. i had done a LOT of research into the twincharging area. the HKS kit was awesome, never got one though, they've been out of production for years. Anyway, there are a lot of sites with diagrams on how to do the piping. it's actually better to have the air go through the SC and then into the turbo. then have a bypass valve (bypass the SC) that goes into the turbo. the turbo will actually open the valve by itself once the efficiency of the SC starts to drop. if i can find the diagrams i will send them if you still want it. In the USCC in sport compact car from February 02 there is a twincharged mr2. apparently you're talking about 300hp with a 1.6L so umm.... 2.6 would definately be worth it if you can supply that crazy amount of fuel. (shouldn't have a problem with MPI anyway) so yeah, do it man, go for it! how many twincharged starions have you seen? i would LOVE to see it, and you never know, you just migh tbe able to sell a kit or something on here. i'm sure it would be interesting to have an MPI/twincharger kit for like 3000 minus turbo. that way they could pick the max HP. yeah, just my 2 cents. send me a pm if i forget to send you the diagram. later bendo

ok, this may sound silly, but N20 is an oxidizer right, so this is just adding something like "air" into the combustion chamber. since you have a TURBO!!!! why not invest in a larger turbo and not have to refill the bottle? just add fuel, magically delicous!!!

15 psi+KDM 3"+fartcan=evidence!
ilikestarion replied to fountaindyno's topic in Engine and Performance Mods
man, what muffler is that? it may be a "fart can" but i like the look. seems to be a more functional size than a fart can in my opinion. anyway, looks great, what mods you have on that VERY NICE looking starion? -
50/50 weight distribution isn't the best BTW, you actually want a little more weight in the back. a perfect 50/50 car will understeer in every corner unless you change your whole suspension and all this extra BS. you want something like 4/52%. someone mentioned mr2s... i happen to have one right now, i sold my starion, but i am getting it back hopefully this week. the lighter weight of the mr2 and the shorter wheel base makes it a complain to drift. it's doable, but not as fun as say a corolla. also, someone said that the AE86 has a problem with understeer? this is a actualyl a problem with the driver. i heard that the mr2 was a problem with oversteer. i haven't experienced that yet though. it all comes down to practice, determination and experience. i swear on that. hopefully nobody will get mad at me being not so nice in these last two posts, i am jsut out teh door and wanted to leave my 2 cents. BTW, DJPowerHaus is pretty right on, listen to that guy!
