StrongTyer
I am looking to sell my Red '89 Conquest TSI (SHP) 140,195 miles It was rear ended about 2 years ago and the tail lights, trim, and hatch need to be replaced. I am still in the process of finding the parts and may be replacing them myself. The unibody also needs to be pulled out so the new hatch will close properly. I also might be able to do this myself. The bumper should be repairable. It only sustained minimal damage and has 2 minor holes. The car starts and runs great and has new injectors. There is an oil leak (possibly the rear main seal) that needs to be addressed. The interior needs some care. The car has been sitting for a while, but like I said, it starts and runs great. The car wanders a little bit. It has since I have bought it. The previous owner told me it needed a rear strut. Since buying the car I have replaced all 4 struts (KYB), front tires, and the steering coupler. The car still wanders a little bit, but and the next thing I was going to replace was the steering box and the bushings. AC probably needs a charge. No stereo and probably needs new speakers/tweeters. The body is in pretty good shape, but has a few minor dings and scratches. Air dam could be painted. Needs rear tires. The engine has not been tampered with very much as far as I know. It has a K&N airfilter, BOV, and new injectors. I am looking to get $1500 for the car as is. The car is located near Fayetteville, AR. The quest needs some work, but has a lot of potential and with some TLC could go a long ways. It used to be my daily driver. I love this car and would love to keep it, but I don't have a lot of room/time/money/tools. I have/can get more pictures up request. If you have any question, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.
StrongTyer
Here are some pictures of the car 2 years ago shortly before it got rear ended. Obviously the car needs some work to be cleaned up back to this state.http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/8114/23112810090198989521270.jpg http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/5065/22934810090198589511041.jpg http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/3189/22845310090408194751028.jpg http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/7796/22677310090200589562199.jpg http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/1259/22567310090199789541732.jpg http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/4605/22289310090201789592920.jpg http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/476/22236810090198189501028.jpg http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/5303/2223281009019738948328n.jpg http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/1194/2220431009019778949575n.jpg http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/207/20549010059315817466854.jpg Edited June 8, 2012 by StrongTyer
