Any where decent to mount the egt probe on a manifold that's still in the vehicle?

Stock manifold?  I think there is a bolt boss that can be drilled out and converted to an EGT boss at the collector just prior to the manifold outlet, which is the best place anyway.  The boss is for a heat shield bolt.  Probably easier to buy a 1/8" NPT half-coupling and weld it on than it is to tap the manifold.

Please?

Thank you,  Brad

Tapping the mani should he pretty easy. Was a breeze on my Cummins.
I would check the spot Chad is talking about because right at the collector before turbo is a ideal spot for a single probe.

Is this bolt hole facing the passenger fender?
