gribbs1469
Is anyone running the 83 FRP hood. Do they crack easily? Is it worth 200 bucks? Thanks
TexasQuest
I've heard they don't fit very well and need work to get them to somewhat fit.
gribbs1469
Yeah I heard that one too, but hopefully since it had been mounted I won't have that problem. It looked straight in the pics...got it for 150 tho, couldn't turn that down. Plus a whole set of Poly bushing for 40.00!! Best steal ever! I had one and sold it because it had fitment issues on my car, so I tried it on a friends thinking maybe my car had some damage in the past causing the issue, but it fit the same way on his car, so we tried it on another car and it was the same issue. I finally gave up and found a good OEM 83 hood. Just be ready to spend some hours fussing with it to get it to fit your car. Good luck with it. I hope I don't have alot of trouble, but i guess i will just play around with it until I get to fit good enough and deal with it for the time being.
