I will have to look into this. The last TPS I put on my car I had to makework. I couldn't find one that I could afford so I took one from a Dodge Daytona (89) and made an adapter plate from a piece of aluminum. It took some work but it looks OK and it still working. But I will look into the Hyundai TPS Thanks

I did the same thing to mine a couple of months ago trying to track down a fuel system problem. I used #2 Permatex on the threads. I didn't have my TB retapped. I used a 1/4" pipe with an elbow and an 1/8" reducer. I just screwed it all together and it works fine. The pipe adapter is a bit tight but doesn't leak at all and looks nice on the car. Later I want to get a remote for the inside of the car. But that will be later this summer. Later

Could you please tell us what engine this came off of? Thanks. Hyundai uses Mitsubishi engines and transmissions in their cars. I put a 2.0 DOHC 4g63 from a 95 Sonata in a 91 Eclipse last year. Worked out good.

For you guys that have the original broken masted antenna's here is an idea. I havent tried to do this so maybe someone can try this. If you go to autozone and look in the antenna section they have one for a chrysler. it looks like a factory antenna mast and cord. So we need a guinea pig to do this and report how it works. ;D

My 86 Starion does not have the TURBO door handles. However it does have TURBO written in the rear hatch. Soon to be on my 88 TSI!!! There is a 86 WB Conquest about 15 miles from me that has the TURBO door handles on it. But no TURBO on the hatch. Its for sale but for WAY too much money. It has a bad engine and he wants appox $1000 for it. Plus the interior is trashed.

I put one on my car soon after I got it. I love it. I have an aftermarket radio so the controls would not do any good. A bolt right on affair. The wheel is a bit smaller and feels better. Just my thoughts.
