  9. i dont know if this will help. i dont even know if those cars have one. but my powerstroke kinda did the same thing. i didnt fry nothing but i was told it was my gem module. it was getting wet. so maybe you might have fried that. the gem module is the brain for all electronics in the vehicle. idk maybe try that.
  10. i used head studs not bolts. so your saying retorq them with oil on the nut to 120 pounds? now as for the im gasket. i should use som sealant around the water holes and that should work?
  11. i never actualy checked the compression with a guage. however it did blow my dads finger off of the hole when he held it over it. i was told that the head was new from the guy i got the car from. he had the receipt for it along with everything else he did to the car..as for the block i bought it from a guy and they cleaned the surfice with a wire wheel. as for the bolt holes do you mean the head studs? i used a little bit of oil on them not alot i just got a little on my finger and rubed it around the end of the stud.yes i used a torq wrench. i cant remember what i torqed them to. it was between 75 and 80 pounds. no i did not use any sealent on the intake gasket i just used the paper gasket.
  12. sorry for not mentioning the head stuff. i timed my car today. but it still dosent want to run right. it starts right up it will idle but when you rev it up it has a pretty big bog and when driving it it seems like it has a miss. any ideas
