Had issues getting timing setup w/ the AEM EPM as you have no way to know where it's pointing. AEM recommended a finger over the Cyl1 spark plug hole and watching spark to try and get it close.
I found it was easier to manually spin the engine with a wrench and have someone watch for the cam tooth count to increase. Once I knew the whereabouts of the the cam I was able to set it in the AEM software and try starting with starter fluid. Didn't start so I was on the wrong stroke. Adjusted by 12 teeth (for the aem puck) and was able to start on starter fluid. Then turn on injectors, get someone to try and keep the car idling with gas pedal and sync the timing.
I've got some things to do while she's in the air so she stops at this point until I can bring her outside and not die from exhaust fumes

It's a horrid mess right now.
I need to find a way to mount my lq9/d585 coils to valve cover, finish some wiring and get the exhaust connected. Once done I will

Turbo out due to broken wastegate bolts and a bent an fitting (swivel seized). Only summit fitting, I don't recommend it lol

I'll have to plumb the IAC into the intake piping at some point, for now I have just a filter... I think that's ok for now.
Noticed no oil pressure on factory and autometer gauge, but I think that's because the autometer sender grounds through the body, which is screwed into an anodized fitting. So I'll try and ground it another way. Factory sender is original from 1987, so that one is probably dead and why the factory gauge doesn't work.
