CTQUEST

i am looking for the mount on the reaer end. if someone has one for sale or knows where i can find it.

ok so after checking into the starter again from looking from the top the top bolt started to back out im guessing thats my issue , its becoming loose.

sorry to seem so clueless but i am really excited about picking this car up and would like any input.

oko iv tried loading pics for the last hr with no luck. i found this black box that says secondary injector driver on it, found where it plugs into traced wires into the bay to a plug witch looks similar to a trailor style plug, not plugged into anything al;ong with 5 or so wires wich two go to a tiny box sitting next to the knock box, also one wire went to wich looks like an injector in the manifold witch was connected to another one tapped into manifold( these were connected to eachother but nothingg else). I am lost as i am new to these carsany info would be great.gonna try to do pics again

ok so i go out today and she fires right up, yet lastnight nothing???

Its an 87 manual,ive only had it for last month or so i traded a plow truck for it. kid just put new rods,pistons has a new head. i dont know much about it other than that. hes hard to get in contact with (crack head) so im basically on my own. i can see some number written on top of tranny as if that was replaced, but thats it.

It doestn actually make a "clicking" sound more of it doesnt do anything like its jammed. it did work perfect for the first three start ups but then i had to roll car then try or pop it. the fisrt replacement starter the gear was a little worn on the verey end but not all the way around only a few teeth.

ok so i have replaced my starter twice, both from autozone , both will start for about the first thre or four times.. now nothing its like starter is jammed. just basically clicks. what do i do im exhausted with the situation cack there its as ifuse itsntight to replace a couple times . ive tried shims no luck ther its as if the teeth dont line up like it jams

Ok so my goal is to get rid of all wiring and vac lines i dont need i would like to somewhat simplify my engine bay. i have a couple other posts as well. I am a newbie and very into this car but i also have someones project and wouldm like to eliminate whats not needed. i dont need any emissions crap. not sure if theres a thread already if so direct me there. thanks

ok so im new to these cars for starters, but when i put headlights on i only have high beems, if i click to low beams my lights shut completly (fold down). also if i use the right turn signal the dash light stays solid and the actual lights on car do nothing. any help would be nice. I am new to the forum and will have a few more posts as well as i got many questions

Hi I just picked up an 87 tsi and i am looking to find a starter shim kit, and the mount on the rear end. also a book for it. not sure if this is in the right forum. i am from connecticut if there are anny locals. thanks in advance
