leesfer
I am looking at the MS wiring diagram and it shows a 2/4 gauge wire attaching to the relay, but what female end do I need to for this to work? That seems like a massive wire to connect to a relay Note that I am not using the stock relays, my car has absolutely 0 stock wiring. scott87star
Yeah that's not right, 16 gauge or even 18 is plenty for those relays. Someone just got lazy doing the schematic.
leesfer
Thanks Scott, So I would just run the large gauge from the battery to a terminal block and then from there use a 16 gauge to the relays? importwarrior
Yup just like the pic shows the fuse blockI believe I used 6 gauge to a stud then 10 gauge to a relaythen to a fuse blockThen like the fuse block in your pic for proper fuse amps.16 gauge to most everything else. my old fuse block http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q299/I-W/Mega%20Squirt/DCP_0327.jpg The Blue connector 2 RED wires with the black bands are actually spliced farther up in to the harness.i just ran one to a relay. then to ground. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q299/I-W/Mega%20Squirt/12VoltPowerSource.jpg Edited February 14, 2014 by importwarrior
