Thought I'd check back in. After a full season of autocross on the new coupler it's still perfect! I probably put 100+ HARD runs in since install and it's still as tight as the day I installed it. Anyone debating one of these couplers need to just bite the bullet and grab one (or 2) Great quality part!!

Just use a bench vice. Put a socket on one side and a 8mm bolt on the other and start clamping. If you hammer it you risk bending the end of the steering shaft.

Just finished installing mine. I couldn't believe how much of a difference that made. It took all the slop out of the steering. Thing is super tight now. Thanks, BC_99. Well worth the price.

Are any of these steering couplers still available? It would save me a lot of time having to fab one up from scratch.
Getting close to installing the engine in the next month or so...
Thanks!
Joe
