  1. Dude there's 32 damping settings on them, you can soften them way down. What kinds bumps are you hitting? lol
  2. Definitely tried all those Tokico/lowering springs, GC sleeve-over conbos, etc, they are far inferior to even a cheap coilover set. You lose too much travel with the old methods if you lower the car, parts weighs a ton, and damping isn't adjustable. Basically this problem was solved with coilovers, everything before that was just old 90's era solutions because there wasn't a better option. You can get whatever spring you want and it'll fit if you're not happy with what the coilover you have comes with. I've been running D2's forever and wouldn't even think of not using them. Everything else is a compromise and it feels like it.
  3. Just realized I haven't posted a pic on here in 10 years. Battlemagnet is still around, it's got a 1UZFE Lexus V8 swap now, super wide custom Work rims, Lazorack Motorsport widebody, and a bunch of aero I fabricated, along with all of the other carbon fiber stuff it had before.

  5. Wait, what engine is in this car? All G54B's have the vac advance unless it was removed for standalone ignition, or something like that...
  6. First things first, if you're running a stockish size turbo you don't need more fuel pressure, and Delphi's don't like pressure over 45PSI they start to act strangely, stock level is about 35-38PSI. If you're running something bigger than a Super16-G at high-ish boost (15+PSI) the MAF-T can help change the fuel curve a bit to accommodate. Use the 1G DSM (Eclipse/Talon) box with a 3" or 3.5" GM Corvette MAF sensor. If you're going big turbo, or going with an MPI intake then yeah you need to go standalone. Megasquirt is a popular SQ option, but there are more modern options now. But I must say, for the money you'll be into to make that happen, you can swap a different motor and have more power and more options. Just my .02.
  7. The parts should be able to be combined, but you're not going to have access without taking out the interior covers either way. I sold a set of those MK1 adjusters on here years ago. Also the stock body opening is small, so adjustment is pretty limited as you're using the strut top bolt to secure it.
  8. I've had this kit for many years. It fits fine, mine uses redrilled BMW rotors. The alternative is to swap your knuckles, coilovers and LCA's for S13 Nissan parts, and then you've got access to a lot more options including Z car parts, Cadillac caliper swaps, etc.
  9. Your problem is likely related to a bad Vacuum Advance module on the distributor. When you make boost, it retards the timing. When they fail, the car hiccups when you start to make boost. To test it, pull it off and push the plunger in and hold your thumb over the nipple. If the plunger moves out, it's bad. As for lifters, I switched to mechanical lifters when I still ran the G54Bt as they're just more reliable, however they do work best with the mechanical cam. good luck
  10. That's correct. You want the hat closer to the rear of the opening, closer to the firewall so your caster is right.
  11. Been so long since I posted real content here, tutorials and stuff like that. It's tough to judge the interest in posting certain things. Since we last talked, my Starion build is a lot different. Here's what's changed: Lazorack Motorsports full widebody kit and all associated body mods Fresh Blitz Black paint and re-cleared all carbon fiber JDM Toyota 1UZFE V8 swap with JDM Nissan S14 transmission and Collins adapter kit 17x11" custom built Work VSSS fronts and 18x12.5 Work Meister rears, 6' and 7.5' lips 3" Oval sidepipe Interior conversion/major delete Custom LED tails and fogs Sleepy Eye flip-up headlight mod Rewired whole car Once I can post images again from a web URL (my server space) I may start up a thread documenting the build for posterity. If you're on Instagram, you can find it at @battlemagnet. Cheers
  12. After 20 years I should be a Universal Grand Master, and so should you actually. But since they gave me GM, I'm good with that though lol.
  13. I hope this reaches the admins! Haven't been around too much but when I look at any old post I've made with images, (which are hosted on my server which has no issues,) the image URL is displayed instead of the image. To make it worse, the URLs aren't even hyperlinks, you'd need to copy/paste it to view the image. For example, this post : Can you resolve the issue by allowing hyperlinks to resolve image files inside the posts?
