  1. Hey everyone. I haven't been on SQC for a while but I'm still in Charlotte area and up to meet. My quest has sat for a few years, so it won't be running anytime soon. -Justin
  2. Dang, I completely forgot about this thread. I ended up having my Conquest transported up this week and will be back working on it shortly. Hopefully I can make a future meet. -Justin
  3. I live in Charlotte now and interested in this. My Conquest is still in Florida, but hopefully I'll get it moved up here before a meet. -Justin
  4. Bottom right corner of the picture below; the threaded hole is where I have one for my autometer and just above that is the stock one. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_JUUd5rvA1NQ/RYyGVi9h-XI/AAAAAAAAAMY/HyodVyoQGYs/s640/Magna%20MPI%202%20-%20034.jpg
  5. Macrophage, if you know where your ms file is on your computer, just upload it to mediafire.com (click upload, then "upload without an account") It will give you a link, to post here, and then they can download your ms file. -Justin
  6. So, I'm guessing the STi is gone? I'll admit, I'm jealous over your new car! Very nice and still love your photography. Is this your weekend car or a daily driver? -Justin
  7. Both posts above contain our MS version. Do you mean the firmware version? *Updated my post above
  8. What ecu are you running? If you just changed from mallory to MSD, sounds like the wiring could be the issue. Maybe a missed wire or such. Just need a little more info on your setup.
  9. Yeah, I'm not using the caravan sensor. Just the stock sensor and modded exactly like the one in the link above. -Justin
  10. Yeah, I was talking about the jumpers. DCC for MS Here is how I modded my distributor :: FIP's dist. mod As mentioned above, if you have the caravan module, that may be the culprit. I'm running MS2 v3.0. Check out the Megasquirt tables sticky thread as I've put my info up there. I tried to use a MSD6a and tach adapter but could never get it to fire right; me and it didn't seem to get along. I switched to DCC and had it running within a day. We'll get you running, might just take a while. -Justin
  11. *EDIT* Just saw you said tach signal, not spark. Are you not getting a tach signal to your stock tach, to MS, etc?? Were you using another method for spark before? To use DCC your MS must be setup for it; I.E. you must solder a few points w/ wire under the MS board for it to use the DCC driver. I'm using DCC w/ modded Dist and MSD 8509 and no troubles starting up. -Justin
  12. I'm running Megasquirt 2 v3.0 w/ MS Relay Board Firmware version 2.890 Magna MPI w/ stock FPR Stock cam - stock turbo - 3" Full exhaust - stock intercooler w/ ends modded. MS running Direct Coil Control Stock Distributor running through MSD 8509 Magnetic Signal Stabilizer Stock Dist. mod : Dist Mod. No idle control, yet 65lb injectors AEM UEGO wideband Oh, can't forget the dumb, super loud TurboXS bov. I'm spoiled by my WRX's quiet recirculating bov. The MSQ file provided below is pretty basic. If you want table snapshots, let me know and I'll try. The car fires up quickly and idles well. I have only taken it on one very short trip down the road, so it is not tuned for upper RPM or acceleration. Here is my .msq file :: Megasquirt file Here are some pics of the electrical and vacuum hookups. Some I made, some are from other people. The ones by me I haven't fully updated since last year, but I am in process of getting them updated and posted. Use at your own risk for now! MPI pics -Justin **If I'm missing anything or you want to know more, PM and I'll add it in here.
  13. Those older 2dr RS are so hot. I like my wrx, but those RS are the best looking subie. If you want the blue one, hopefully they will work out a better price with you. -Justin
