I'm assuming the dates are June30-July2 since July 4th falls on a Tuesday....Are these the correct dates for the meet?

I'm trying to see so I can see about getting off work. Id really like to try and make it in 2017...

When are most people planning on going?  I'm 5th in line for seniority at work for taking days off. I'm betting someone will have that week off. But I'm hoping not...

PF 2017 dates at Vacation Lodge .
Rates will be in effect for June 30th to July 5th. Single queen rooms are  $80 per night,  two queens are  $105 per night, and suites are  $135 a night.  Suites will probably sell out first, so book them ASAP. Call 1-800-468-1998 for reservations and ask for Starquest rates.

I'm going to try and see about coming early Monday 3rd, and maybe staying til Wednesday 5th..I'm guessing most people will still be there on Tuesday 4th?  I wasn't sure if people come for the weekend only or they actually stay on through the 4th...

The last time I was at PF the only thing there was an old water wheel on one side of the road & a small museum on the other.

This sounds like there is a hotel right at PF now?  Correct? Or is this place at Gatlinburg?

Are you ever going to be surprised the next time you see it. :)

Pigeon Forge is multiple miles of all kinds of lodging, restaurants, attractions, kitsch, entertainment, pancake houses. Until Gatlinburg's fire last year, I would have said it had overtaken Gatlinburg but it appears from an outsider's point of view that Gatlinburg has/had moved a bit "upscale" while Pigeon Forge was the more blue-collar option. There's certainly a lot more space to move around in Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg is more heavily policed. However, I drove my V12 XJS through Gatlinburg once last year and got a ton of comments and looks. I think having a SQ cruise from PF to Gatlinburg, loop and come back, would be a worthy thing to do as a group.

Anyway, you owe it to yourself to see it again. It has certainly changed.
