  1. Lets see if this pic will post and work http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/7640/w1rj.jpg http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/6052/4zx3.jpg
  2. I have the same turbo except from Godspeed perfomance my friend got it for his eclipse but it didn't like to stay bolt to the mainfold so I took it as payment for installing a super 16g and forced perfomance mainfold. I used the t3 adapter it came with for the eclipse and modified it for my Quest and used all the stock oil & coolent lines. All I left to make is a new down pipe and figure out how to hook it into the stock Intercooler piping I have a few pic I will post up when I get back home to my Pc. I will try with my phone but no promises on results
  3. I read you sold the engine but do you still have the valve cover that says " Mitsubishi" on it let me know thanks
  4. It not a flat spot for sure because I would feel that at all speeds. As for an out of balance fire I would be a think it would be a constant thing and get worse the faster I go. This comes and goes. Some times I accelerate with no wobble at all other times it there. If it there and I turn is lessens but doesn't totally go a way. I have the idler bushing ordered they will be here tomorrow and I going to get the tires balance possibly Saturday a friend has a tire machine and said he would do it for me. Well see if these two things cure this problem then on to the next small issue of it killing battery's over night Thanks you all for all the replying I wasn't expecting so many in such a short time.
  5. Hey I haven't posted on this sight in a long time but I just finished putting my car on the road and I have like I said in the description above a wobble around 30 to 45 mph and it not severe some times compared to others. I have jacked the car up and checked the wheel bearings and the tie rod end look new probably installed by previous owner and strut rod bushing look to be in one piece. The tires are newish very few miles but are a few years old but no dry rot from what I can see. I am going to have them road force tested and balanced just to make sure but I have dealt with plenty of bad tires and this doesn't fit the bill to me as a bad tire. The wheels are perfect not a scratch on them. I have read about the coupler bushing that goes to the gear box but I don't have very much play in the steering its self. I not sure about the shocks either but I have blown ones in my other car and it doesn't have the wobble. With all this info I have given you would i be correct in thinking its the idler arm bushings. The vibration also feels like its more on the passenger side of the car as well. As alway thanks for any input and will be updating about my car soon
  6. Na I'm going to make my own and after I have it all mocked up I have some one weld it for me it should come out pretty nice right now I'm just using a modded stock manifold with injecters welded in it and a 4.6l ford upper plenum off a town car for thr upper half what are you running for fuel mangment.
  7. Hey I live close by I live in clermont and seen gato intake it's a nice peace dose it have volocity stack in it Im looking in to building a simalar set up on mine but I can't afford his intake. I have an 88 conquest with shp going Honda fi to run it all
  8. what do you mean by both connectors were connected to each other. Like one wire touching another wire one that goes into the other plug please elaborate a little because this is driving me mad. Tonight i tried looking at it again i look at the plugs their black but not wet so i know its running on the rich side I tried retarding the timing and the idle slow down for a few seconds and then went right back to where it was. I also just found that it has two plug while reading the repair Manuel to the idle motor and I unplugged one and it changed nothing but I did not unplug both. I have another idle motor I might try tomorrow. I must have the worse luck with these cars because I have three of them and the one that ran the best smoke so bad that the fogging truck looked better driving down the road. oh and it was running on a carb off a 318 Mopar
  9. I know the simple things to check for what else could it be a vacume leak wouldn't cause it becuse I had plenty of those any body have the idle motor go on the frits and have it do this
  10. Here what going on I just finshed putting a new motor In my car it all stock with a gretty bov in was running awsome. Put about 50 miles on it testing and checking things working the bugs out got 90% of them nailed down parked it for about a week becuse I was either working or it was raining I went out to just fire it up and let it run and warmup and the idle went crazy and not low, like high it won't go below 2500 or 3000 rpm I haven't ever seen or heard of this on a quest just looking for a place to start if you have any good input please post it up thanks.
  11. I haven't forgot about that I will take some more measurments when I get off work to see let you all know
  12. The intake runners on 2.3 start at 1.75" and roll down to something smaller then our ports but i plan on cutting the runner short and welding on 1.5" tube that will line up and using the fuel rail off of the 2.3 because it just like the one on the magna intake and make a flange on top with air horns in my main plenum hear a quick mock up with a better pic of my idea
  13. I have a few extra quest transmissions and a t-5 out of a 5.0 mustang between 83 and 85 the only I know that the top two bolt for the 302 are the same as the quest trans but i haven't done much more research then that. What I would like to know is if you could cut off the bell housing off a quest and welded it to a plate that would fit a T-5 and had the fly will my be machined to fit the input shaft of the t-5 would this work or am I wrong. the reason I ask this is because i have a auto i would be willing to cutup for research if you guys would think this would work. The reason I want to do this is for fuel mileage because the 5th gear in the 302 t-5 is perfect for cruising with 3.91 rear gears and you could change the first through forth with one from a four cylinder out of a svo mustang or Thunderbird turbo coupe because they are real close to our gear ratio. Then my be I could get 30 miles to a gallon or close to it. I will do some more research but just trying to get a feel out for what you think of my idea.
  14. Was yours a bulb or an led because I belive mine is a led they reqire much less juice to run an incodesent bulb. I know also about the dimmer switch because I blew a fuse in my honda trying the same thing. I just don't want to pull from something that actully a sigal wire to another gauge.
  15. Stock civic boot dirty it has b&m short throw that why it not all the way to the top inhave a real leather one for my quest
