I don't really collect anything, but my hobby is selling on EBAY....I go to Pawn Shops and Thrift Stores and look for stuff to sell on EBAY....

Occasionally, I come across cool items and decide to enjoy them briefly before selling...

I've bought some nice high-end jewelry that I'll wear for a few months, and then flip....

Omega Constellation 18K gold watches
Tiffany 18K Cufflinks
LeCoultre Mystery Dial 14k Gold Watch...

Recently, I've came across a $500 bill from 1934, and I'm currently trying to sell it on EBAY...

Anyone else dabble in any unusual items?

My wife teaches kindergarten. She came home one day with a stack of $1 bills that she collected from kids to pay for party supplies.  And there was a silver cert in the stack.  So it got promptly switched out.  :)

I collect Matchbox diecast. It started when I was about 5. The love for cars never left me, the cars just got bigger and with engines. But, some people here follow me on IG too and I constantly post up pics of what I find. I go to a lot of local toy shows, yard sales, antique stores, even word of mouth. I find them all over. My favorite is to look for them on vacation. Kinda makes it special finding one and creates a memory.

I collect experiences. Lots of times they are free, you can have as many of them as you want because they take up no room, and they add varied types of value to your life.

My favorite things growing up were videogames and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I got into collecting them again about 4 years ago. My TMNT collection is fairly small, with about 20 figures. But my videogame collection is pretty big, over 500 games ranging from Atari 2600, NES, SNES, N64, PlayStation 1&2, Xbox One & 360.

I was big into star wars vintage stuff growing up,...and then the POTF era from the mid-90s until mid 2000s.  I had literally every figure from 1995 to about 2005.  sold it all for 6 grand back then.  Bought a few 1986 fleer basketball sets from it, and blew the rest apparently.  Can't even remember where the rest went.
I've collected basketball cards since early 1990s.  Stopped around 1998, and only picked up the occasional one off pack or card for a while after that.  I have over 260 jordan cards or something like that.  A bunch of cool rookies, like shaq, shawn kemp, kobe, anfernee hardaway, reggie miller, etc.
I used to also have a crapload of generation 1 transformers toys from my childhood.  gave those away as a teenager for 75 bucks for the whole lot.  Only kept megatron.  Just recently bought 6 of the new ones that are in the same basic style as original for that new netflix series that is coming.  And the starion cliffjumper they just came out with also.  Would love to someday have enough money to get a complete boxed set of original transformers release, but damn the prices have gone insane on that stuff.
TurboCary, over the last 5 years I've gotten heavily into emulation and front end software for use on PC.  I have every arcade game and major console game all the way up to playstation and gamecube.  Only a handful of games for wii, wiiu, and ps2 because those take up so much space.  I use a frontend called launchbox, it is a killer way to organize and launch your collection.  TMNT, Sunset Riders, X-MEN, Simpsons,...all those sorts of beat 'em ups are awesome.  I also love Shoot 'Em Ups like u.n. squadron, gradius, do don ponchi.  And the classics like dig dug, ms. pac-man, donkey kong, the first mario bros., stuff like that.  It took a hell of a lot of work to get all set up and tweaked to run right, but it is so much fun to have everything on your PC in one spot.  I even have usb adapters to use original controllers for SNES, Playstation, and gamecube.
Retro cars, retro stereo equipment, retro gaming....s*** retro everything is just, better! lol.  But of course, I'm biased. :D

I have 3 gas powered RCs that were given to me. One is a Traxcas T-Maxx like yours. I know nothing about them and I'm guessing g they've been sitting awhile so the engines probably need to be rebuilt and cleaned. YouTube I guess when I have some free time.

Tech boy, I have had some sit for years. Squirt a little wd40 in the carb and hand turn the engine some. Add gas and they usually fire right up.
