ok, comp. got to acting stupid, and started getting some pop ups which ive never had. so i ran adaware and avg anti rirus and avg anti spyware. it finds this trojan called virtumonde and says it deletes it. so i run it again and its the same case. time after time.

so i downloaded spybot search and destroy and its almost the same case. then i downloaded avira antivirus. same friggen thing.

i tried to google it for fixes but found information thats over my head so i figure i better stick to just running programs that i cant easily screw up. does anyone know of a tool that will for sure get rid of this.

A couple years ago my mom's Dell got a nasty bug that wouldn't even let the machine boot properly. Didn't matter what I did, I got the BSOD. I ended up pulling the HD out, slaving it into my computer at home, and running my AVG from my primary drive. Got rid of it just fine. Not sure if that'd work for you, or if yo've got another computer to even try it on.

ahh virtumonde. my youngest son's computer had it. my oldest actually got rid of it. i will have him give you instructions when i get home. he has a habit of rambling a little but just ignore that and he will give ya good info.
