  1. my 87 widebody had 4 bolt axle, but i swapped over to the 6
  2. 9 grand for a project car ? wow, good luck with the sale.
  3. did you changed the alternator recently ? i had same problem before with a reman alternator,i went through 3 (bosch) in a week before i got a good on,
  4. check the vacuum line that connect two head light together, right in the back of the front bumper, mine was cracked and it did that before too.
  5. yeah, check your CAT make sure it not all plugged up
  6. You can try another transmission shop and see what they tell you, if both of them says it's the tranny itself, then more than likely it's in the tranny.
  7. sound like bad clutch, how old is the clutch ? my stealth was doing the samething, when hot the engine rev really high but the car is barely moving, but i just put a new clutch in ita few weeks ago, i replaced the slave also, but found out it was the clutch master cylinder is junk.
  8. did you mark the cap before you remove it ? you could over tighten it, if you back it up a little bit it will turn easier, it should have some preload on it, will be a little snug but not to tight, add some fluid to it will help also, i use tranny fluid
  9. hi guys, how do you guys hook up the shiftglow oil temp gauge ? it has 3 wires, black = ground, red = 12v, pink = ? also has 3 tiny screws, 1st is +, 2nd is -, 3rd is S means any thing ? i lost the instruction
  10. i used the non fouler spark plug before in my 01 Mazda Millenia, they're known for having bad CATs, so i gutted the cats out, bought the non fouler spark plug from NAPA, drill out the non fouler, screwed that into the cats then screw the sensors in, cleared the codes, never come back again, and get better performace.
  11. what kind of work does it needs for 3k ? just tires and paint job ? got the hood scoops ? did you fix the active exhaust yet ? any leaks ? they have a common of rear steering line leak, and transmission grind
  12. there maybe more air in the system, bleeding it until all the air come out, i see times that we have to bleed all 4 wheels.
  13. i like the car, but it's hard to get all the money back from it.
  14. try not to get crazy with the pressure washer at the sensitive area especially, electrical stuff, like alternator, coil, cap & rotor, fuse box, air filter box, MAF etc, could cause it to have a short in the system, or no start sometimes when the engine is hot, don't hose the cold water on to exhaust manifold,or turbo, sudden cool down may cause them to crack.
  15. no radio ? hows oil pressure ? all the gauges working ? PMed you, i'm interest in your car
