Not very far, we need more steering angle. If I get anything more then about 45* of angle it wants to spin out, and faster lock to lock would be good too. Not putting in the clutch or fuel starvation or something? Yes I weld baffles in our pans and we usually run a little extra oil. My car died every time I spun because I was letting it bog out, after a while I would push the clutch in sooner and give it a little rev and that helped.
