    My yellow 88 conquest tsi shp, i just got this car about 2 months ago, and on 7/13/08 i ran a compression test finally, the old owner insisted the rings where fried... i found out its just oil in the turbo setup making it smoke!

  1. I know the price is steep, but this thing runs sound, and the body is in great shape, price is negotiable...pm me some offers, the reason she wants me to just get rid of the car is i keep changing my mind about it lol, i used to have a 1980 formula 500 firebird that was FAST and this car while being very quick, just isn't up to par with what i like so i was gonna do a v8 swap... she thinks the thing will just sit around forever, and it runs fine now so just sell it and buy another firebird lol Oh, and sorry but no pics as of yet, i will try to get some as soon as i can, i have a digital camera around here somewhere!

Ok everybody, i have to let Car go because i have found a new love and she says the car can't stay... seats are torn up but the rest of the car is in great shape It is a yellow 88 quest with a sunroof, i just put new ngk plugs in it and a beck arnley cap and rotor.. msd blaster2 coil, it has a New njv head with a slipper cam, just replaced the turbo with a good used one, it has kumoh racing tires on it... propose101 egr blockoff plate, all the vacuum lines have been rerouted and heater still works, open air filter.. this thing Screams!!! I am asking 7k obo for her, need the cash to get married! :sweatingitout: This car is located in Hutchinson Ks

Ok, i have decided to put the 360 magnum in my car, so i am selling my engine with New njv head and slipper cam for $1500 ( The head cost me around $600) and i also have the intercooler with small dent in the tube for $100 the stock mas with can $50 the turbo complete $150 boosts great fans in excellent condition smokes just a little on startup... virtually no shaft play. And polished Mitsubishi logo valve cover $60 (stock one is still on the car) I just put a Beck Arnley Gold cap and rotor on this car with msd blaster 2 coil. Pretty much any parts that relate to the stock engine are up for grabs just pm me... Some prices are negotiable... everything will stay under the hood until the engine itself is sold ( Because the car can be driven as is) and i need the extra cash to complete the engine swap :aj:

Ok, i put my slipper rockers back in today.... didn't even wanna bother with the rollers (for now) later on i will do a roller conversion, hopefully by then someone will have a very good roller grind for these engines... until then my car is running fine like it is.... if i can get this high idle problem figured out now!! Me and this car are going rounds... :fighting0061: maybe someday it can be a daily driver :driving: I agree with the magna cam idea... i think i will do some research and try to locate one as well, ppl pls feel free to keep giving out advice about roller rocker installs, and thanks for all the input :hmm3grin2orange:

I believe it is a stock Caravan cam?? it has adjustable screws on the rockers that came off of it... where can i get a roller cam?? can i go pull one off a vehicle or do i have to order one?? any input is very appreciated, Dvenable told me that the problem is the valves are being held open as well, and i believe him, but would like to know what cam i need... is it a magna cam?? and what vehicles had the cam i need? And if my valves got bent, im going to go find the ebay guy that says this is a bolt on upgrade and kick his a$$!! Does anyone know if there is enough clearance between the piston and valves?? im really hoping my new njv-head has not been ruined from my believing that :deadhorse:

Ok, i put in some 1.6 roller rockers from a 3.0 v6 and now my engine wont start, it just spins over like there is no spark plugs in it.... and there is!! im kinda confused as someone said b4 on here that these where a bolt on upgrade, does anyone have some input on this PROBLEM... :character0056:

  8. Yes the 360 magnum is a roller setup.... and could you guys argue about his project elsewhere plz?? This is a very strong running motor...still sitting in the wrecked truck as of now, engine and harness only... no tranny :eek1bluegreen: your better off using a 5 speed anyways....the dodge dakota bellhousing bolts up to the toyota supra 5 speed tranny...you can use the flywheel and cluth from the dakota too...
  9. 1995, i dont know the milage.. ran stong though and no transmisson...the fuel injection harness will be easy to remove though! ecu mounted to firewall. If you need the milage i can find out... the truck isn't here where im living, its stored at my uncles old shop out in Turon

I have a 360 magnum engine w/ harness from my wrecked dodge pickup, will think about all serious offers, definately preffer someone to pick this engine up... would suck to ship this bad boy lol i am in the market for 2.5 exhaust system.. or complete mpi system.... i have decided to keep my 4 cylinder
