I want to know  because i  have made recent changes in my car fuel sistem an i have a problem maintaining idle speed , i cant get a good idle below 80psi in the fuel sistem (i have 2 accel 83 lbs), but my pump (bosh roller vain) is going dead at 100-125psi.

If someone could send me  any advice in what fuel pump shoul i get , or someone knows   what is my problem  I apeciate  the advices !

you got to be  kiding  if you  need 80 + lbs of fuel pressure at idle then you have a serious  lean  problm with your inj's

as for a fuel  pump   go with a bosh  CIS pump i don't have a number handy  but  they do 80lb 24/7  with a max of 150 lb ,  more then any fuel  rquirements  you'l ever have  , even with 440 cid

I found the E-2315 fuel pump on CarParts.com, is $160 a good price for it or is there other places I can go.  I got my fuel pump replaced by pepboys a while ago and I supposedly got a E8000 (*DM thinks they just cleaned off my old one) and I had to pay over $400 when all was said and done......

From iminhell:

I was bored at work the other day and decided to dig through the Airtex book (fuel pumps). Here is what I found out about the stock pump (replacement pump). (I know some of this is in the FAQ already).

Airtex part # E8000

Rollervane construction

Inline pump

Maximum GPH @ 12 volts = 30

Shut off pressure = 70 - 95 psi

Here is what I found for "high volume" pumps (please note that these have not been tested to work)

Airtex part # E8151(stock Viper, '92 - '96)

Rollervane construction

Inline pump

Maximum GPH @ 12 volts = 65

Shut off pressure = 150 - 170 psi

(my cost - $200.44)

Airtex part # E8169 (stock Porsche, '77 - '94 (all))

Rollervane construction

Inline pump

Maximum GPH @ 12 volts = 70

Shut off pressure = 160 - 180 psi

(my cost - $156.25)

Airtex part # E8002 (stock '82 - '92 Volvo, '88 - '92 Jaguar)

Rollervane construction

Inline pump

Maximum GPH @ 12 volts = 40

Shut off pressure = 90 - 100 psi

(my cost - $75.96)

Airtex Part # E2315 (stock '71 - '86 Ford, Mercury, Volvo, Cadillac, BMW)

Rollervane construction

Inline pump

Maximum GPH @ 12 volts = 38

Shut off pressure = 115 - 125 psi

(my cost - $78.65)

I forgot to write down the Supra pump info, I'll update this when I remember.

For my needs/wants I will probally pick up the Porsche pump as I intend to go E-85 and will need the added volume.

The "my cost" is only there for referance cost of the pump, I cannot purchase them and resell them, a "walk-in" customer can expect to pay 25% more than the listed prices.

Let me know if there are any other pumps you want the same info on.

Up to you to decide. I got the info from the Aixtex 2005 book at work.
