I am working very slowly but surely to buy/build a Pro-Street Starion/Conquest powered by a 4G63T motor the first step is knowledge. Hence the questions and yes I am sincere just not affulent. I have heard the A-904 fits the trans tunnel of this car but a A-727 requires some finessing. Will I buy the car soon I don't know. I have a garage to spend $ on 1st so I have a place to put the project to begin with. If next year is the year I have heard about in terms of existing home sales& home loans I will getting to my objective earlier.

Hello Guys. I am saving to buy a Starion or Conquest have always loved their looks. I grew up during the "Pro-Street" movement and would like to have a Pro-Street car that Looks and Cooks. I am on Buschur's Forum and a guy there did a 4G63T swap with a TH350 Tranny and 8.8 Ford rear in an '81 Challenger. I would like to build a '86-'89 Starion or Conquest with an A-904 Torqueflite Tranny and an 8 3/4 Chrysler rear. I would like to run low 11's-Mid 10's with a 2.3L 4G63T stroker. Is this even possible? Who mates unlikely drivetrain components?

Very nice thread and I love your car! You used a Th350 Tranny but how hard do you think it would be to swap in an A-904? Is this a car that lends itself to back halfing ie Pro-Street?
