  4. i can say, without a shadow of doubt that this IS a 85 toyota supra. i used to have the same exact car with the same hidious paint scheme years ago. white with black front and rear bumpers. the car looked awful (to todays standards), but back in the day, it was my favorite car, til i laid eyes on a widebodied Starion!!!lol.. http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd13/ronin1653/2po5xkx.jpg http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd13/ronin1653/toyota_supra_82-85.jpg http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd13/ronin1653/47278706_P8060010.jpg

  7. last i checked my turbo wasnt made of glass, :hmm3grin2orange: and yes the turbo would just heat the air back up, but not nearly as hot as the air it took in after it went past this thing. im thinking the restrition in air flow would be better delt with in the intake side of the turbo than in between the turbo and intake. just a thought. i've seen a set up where a guy had the a/c line in his car custom made to wrap around his intake to cool down the intake temps. his intake used to sweat like crazy, and you could feel it was cold to the touch. i guess its was a "poor mans" version of this interfreezer set up.
  8. ok, the combo deal doesnt seem to be working, so im splitting them up. $80 for the 89 ECU, $65 for the 89 knock box w/pig tail, and $60 for the unhacked 89 engine harness.
  9. has anyone mounted one of these to the turboes intake?? http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=77012 i mean it would probably extend the life of the turbo if it were pulling in sub zero temps and it eliminate any flow restrictions on the charged air side. im no expert, but i think it might work. then again maybe the extreme cold on one side of the turbo and the exhuast heat from the other side might cause the turbo to snap in half at the shaft housing. any ideas?? experiences?? i saw one of these at a car show on a car equiped with a Jackson Racing supercharger and i didnt have any idea what it was til now. i know that superchargers are belt driven so there is no extremes in operating temps with that set up. what that be the deal breaker for turbo applications??
