Im located in CT and am looking for an 87-89 widebody starion or conquest located near by. Im looking for a vehicle that needs some work and can be restored. The vehicle must be stock not looking for anything that has a bunch of aftermarket parts. If you have anything please let me know. Thanks TJ

The car runs and drives but hasnt been registered in a while. I would recommend having it trailered home. If you dont no much about fixing cars Top end performance makes a direct bolt on turbo kit for the 2.6L with a carb. The link is listed below: http://www.racetep.com/monturbo.html

The frame rails are in good shape especially the passenger side one that normally rusts because of the ac line. That was one of the first things i checked when i bought it.

This car has been sold. I originally purchased this car as a project but do not have the time or money to finish. The vehicle has a non turbo 2.6 with a carb. Previous owner installed it not sure why. My plan was to keep the carb and add a turbo. I listed it for sale locally and on ebay but no luck selling it. This will be my last attempt to sell it before parting. The car runs and drives if you put an air filter on the carb you could drive it around. It would be a shame to part this car. I have an 87 starion 5spd for sale originally black currently primer grey. The inertior is also black. I purchased it last year and have worked on it every weekend sense i got it. This is my second starion and i never thought i would be selling this one but once again i find myself needing to sell it for some extra cash. Car runs great starts up on first try. It has 90K on the body and motor. The engine bay looks stock and has not been modified in any way. Listed below you will find everything i have replaced on the car along with a few things that still need to be taken care of. I am asking $1800. If interested let me know i can get you pics or you can come take alook at it. Good: -New water pump -89 lower airdam in good condition no major cracks -stock Cat back exhaust with dual tips from an 89 starion with only 66K. -New high pressure power steering line -Newer battery -Full tune up performed a few months back -87 front seats with no rips. some other minor interior parts to finish it off. -New rotors front and rear -flushed brake system with new fluid. -new brake master cylinder -K&N air filter -replaced rear end mounts -replaced fuel sender unit -Replaced fuel filter in rear wth wix filter and removed cone filter before the fuel pump. also replaced fuel filder in engine bay. -cleaned fuel tank -polished one of the front rims. was going to polish the other 3 after i got it back from paint. -sanded and primerd body. car is ready for paint. new antenna mast -replaced ac compressor and ac belt. -New fog light/hazard switch -New oil filter and oil -New rear brake lines Bad: -Power steering pump needs rebuild currently leaks. -AC dryer needs to be replaced and system charged with r134. tested system and it does work just needs to be charged after dryer is replaced.
