i have an 87 conquest tsi with a stock fuel system and once it got cold out it was hard starting getting too much fuel almost flooding itself and then i took it for a rip around some curvies around here and it was running fine,i got om the gas hard and i stalled out would not start,had it towwed home. pulled plugs and looked gas fouled changed out plugs started for a second and died again. with plugs out crancking engine just keeps pucking fuel out getiing way too much fuel. i have good spark and plenty of compression. car keep on flooding itself with fuel. do you think its a stuck (open) injector. or regulator. it just wont even start its flooding itself so bad do you think it has something to due with the cold temps as it only happened when it got cold. i need your help. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, let me know i think it wont take much to start but if it dont its still registered so if you have AAA you can have it towwed. so give me a buzz when your ready. ill let you know if anyone else wants it before hand.

i have been told that. but i have no idea were to start,plus i just dont have the time for it right now,(buying a house).fuel mods that i know of are cold air intake,cleaned injectors(a while ago) and ported intake. listen if you want the car ill give you a fair deal,this car has lots of extras like coil over suspension all around,3 point strut tower brace w/adjustable camber /caster. drill brake rotors w stainless steel lines and the engine has .40 over TEP pistons,balanced crankshaft, balancer eliminator kit, new turbo,racing valve job with port and polished head,etc. the list goes on. give me a call after 6:30 pm ask for sergio and ill give you the details. 603-522-3525. thanks

Hey, I have an 87 Chrysler Conquest TSI for sale, Red, standard, about 14K on rebuilt 2.6L 4 Cyl. Needs some rear quarter work, front spoiler (i have one for it), and a little paint. Interior is mint. Only thing is it keeps flooding itself and in the cold NH weather, there's no way I can get it running right now. I know its an easy fix though. The engine is completely modded, 2 stage turbo, Take a look!!! Not a bad investment for someone with the time and money. I need the cash to help buy a house, otherwise i would not be selling it.
