What's everybody's thoughts on machining the factory hub down to accept different rotors?  Current hub diameter for the rotor bore is 76mm, and 67mm for the wheels center bore.  Seems like this would open up a few more options while trying to piece together a diy big brake setup.  The smallest I would go is 67mm to match the current step for the wheel bore.  I'm already eyeing a few off the shelf rotors from newer cars to do this.

I believe crown Vic or NSX rotors already can be used for a larger caliper setup.

Gonna have to look into that.  Looking for a 320mm at least 30mm thick.

Went looking back at old posts and it looks like convette machines his hubs for the cobra 13" setup.  Gonna try to do it on my neighbors brake lathe.  I haven't turned a rotor in 13 years, but it should be fun!  Just gotta figure out the rotor and all the clearance issues.

Yea I found that too, and it's not the same kit.  I'm sticking with off the shelf rotors as a single wilwood rotor is $200. You can get a pair of stoptech directional/slotted oem fit rotors for that much. The hats are also $125 each and have to be safety wired.  I already have a set of GTO two piston calipers that originally clamped into a 12.6" rotor.
