Can we get a feedback section for people who offer to buy parts but for various reasons waste your and people who actually have money to buy the parts time.  I know we have a feedback section already, but that is for people who actually have done the sale.  The section I am talking about would be for people who PM you to hold the part, ridiculously low ball an offer or cram your thread with argumentative garbage when you call them on being broke.  I feel a section like this could be helpful to the seller as to whether to accept somebody's offer or just move on to the next person by giving them a history of what the buyer has done in the past.  Sort of a credit report, so to speak, if you have bad credit you just get passed over and the next person gets it.  What do you think?

I think the feedback section can be utilized for that. Look up the persons username and see if they have some good buyer feedback. I remember before i had paypal it was a bit of an issue for me sometimes sellers got impatient. So if a person does a deal they should ask the person on the other end to throw up a good feedback for them as a seller. No good feedback = no lowballs accepted. I had the same idea a couple times but i think it would end up being a rant and rave forum.

So you think I could post on whoever's feedback about ridiculously low offers and offers the buy then disappearing when it's time to pay?

I did once to a guy from florida that bought my steeering wheel and we finaly settled it so i guess maybe. I should read the rules before i give you and answer...

So here is what i found...
When it was supposed to be delivered or completed?
(Include the date the transaction occured, the timeframe in which you were told it would take to complete the transaction and/or date promised)

Going off that i guess it does not have to be a completed transaction. So you could post something like " be careful for old fuzz face he will offer you money for stuff and not pay" But i would say some specifics need to be in there to meet the gudelines.

It's a fricken joke the way somebody will be so serious and ask for a ton of pictures to change their mind at the last minute.  I don't even think it is changing their mind, I think they never had the money in the first place and are just talking up a storm to feel important. I especially dislike the people that come up with these ridiculously low offers for parts that are performance that you just sit there and say to yourself you couldn't even get a stock part for that low, why are you disrespecting me?  If it's the way you are saying Scotty, mostly people are decent, then what would be the problem with flaming the fakers who are wasting people's time?  I mean come on, the only reason this continues to happen is because people don't know who the fakers are... they should be put on Front Street...

A "would be" buyer has the money to buy the parts they want, they know the part they are asking you about is the one they need AND they get back to you after you have pulled the part, boxed it and made it ready to go.  It doesn't have to be a rant section, it could be something as simple as a place to post e-mails and thread posts so it's as plain as day on who's saying and doing what.  E-Bay puts a hold on your account if you offer to buy then pull out, what's the difference?

I see a bedwetter section would be nice..  what about a Buyer that needs said part wants said part Pays for part and Never receives any thing in return. Works both ways I see no difference

There's a section for people who pay for stuff and don't receive it, it's not on SQC though, that section is at their local police department and if the seller is out of their state it would be the post master general for mail fraud...I'm getting the feeling you don't like the idea for this section because maybe a post with your name on it would be the first post in the section consistantly????  A major corporation like Ebay see fit to stop people from bidding on items they don't pay for, but you don't think that's a good for the community...Hey Scotty, who's on that list of yours?

The best thing you can do is take a lot of pictures, represent the part as best as you can in your post and put "First to paypal me with money gets the part" and ignore the rest.  That'll separate the men from the boys.

just my opinion that's all,i am from alabama and down south so many folks go so many directions all at the same time looking for the same things and want it all now and not later,so what happens is all this information that is at a finger tip nowadays from 1 web site to another website, alot of people including myself get wrapped up in so many conversations or e-mails on a certain object, that once it is found then and not have to wait till later to get an answer, and it is ready to purchase right then while sitting there behind the computer,by using paypal or some other easy source of payment, the item is taking care of then, leaving others that had just been spoken to or emailed in a spot where they think your going to purchase so you finally find it,clean it up,get it ready and bam,no buyer?why?to late, already found it!!!,but the good thing about all this is?NOW YOU HAVE SOMETHING READY THAT SOMEONE ELSE IN THIS BIG WORLD WE LIVE IN MAY NEED AND YOU CAN POST IT ON SEVERAL FREE WEBSITES WITH PICTURES AND SELL IT,INCLUDING USING E-BAY IF YA WANT TO PAY THE FEES OR HAVE THE BUYER PAYEM,BOTTOM LINE IS THIS YOU MAY HAVE GOTTEN SCREWED NOW,BUT IT PAYS OFF LATER,TRUST ME....I HAVE HAD IT DONE TO ME AND I HAVE DONE OTHERS,BUT NOT OUT OF MEAN NESS,JUST WANT IT NOW AND NOT LATER,AND IF I HAVE TO WAIT LATER I WILL BUT WHEN YOU HAVE 1000000 THINGS GOING ON IN YOUR HEAD,1 LESS THING TO WORRY ABOUT LATER.............

lol, really? well, I have a feedback section that you can comment on, yours would be the first negative comment.  I don't recall it but hey I forget my girlfriend's birthday and anniversaries.

I just pm'd you.  The comment wasn't meant for you it was meant for the Wadd.  That's why I quoted his post because he is ranting about people telling a seller they want to buy and then backing out after the seller held the parts for them.  The Wadd wanted parts from me and I held them for a couple weeks then he backed out so I lost other buyers that pm'd me.
