Sounds like a wicked build.
Are you saying that Brian Crower is building your engine? Or that you are using his parts?

If ya got a vin # I can match it.. this car has been sitting for at least 14 years before I bought it... would be pretty cool!

I will be building my engine.. some of the machine work as well. Brian Crower sells a stroker kit slightly larger than Tomei kit and has a longer rod to correct the geometry

could'nt u just go the beaten path, rb30 ?
crower and brian crower stuff is a mixed bag. I'd take any oem nissan part over their 'questionable' stuff
I got two budys that r RB die hards.
First done 6.8sec 1/8th rb25 s13 5sp (pulls hella hard for a daily street ride imo). His rb30 been stuggling to match the 6.8
The other goes 6.7 1/8th rb26 s14 5sp. Soon to find out how his new rb30 does
Neither wanted to push their stock 25/26 bottom ends any further, or spray.... hence the move to 30

now Im reading the rb blocks like to crack. trying to find alternatives to make this work. I think its mainly related to that skylines are 4wd. and how the front differential mounts through the engine. It may not be an issue on our rwd cars...

Welcome to the world of Wedge Engineering brackets. Mine fit like crap too and had to hack them up to get them to fit halfway decent. The driver seat leans over a little bit toward the consol. I have no idea what car they measured them from.....

Its crazy! I would've just made my own but I just wanted to bolt n go.. terrible. Ill be contacting the company this week. overall Im happy once they were fitted properly. passenger seat very close to door but I don't see much room to move it over.

they definitely were leaning before I fixed them. 1/4in off In height on one side!

now Im reading the rb blocks like to crack
dunno about that one. They can't like crack more than our g54s :D
i know 25s, 26s & 30s all differ.... neither of the examples mentioned above had n e issues
their worst condition; 2 step launch on slicks, full street cars. Relatively mild Tomei 260 cams
Now if u planning that hi rpm stuff.... good luck

on a side note, a couple corolla clubmembers cammed up their turbo 1.6 builds, shifts past 10,000rpm. All their blocks cracked
None of the conventional 8000rpm 1.6s did.... and they et'd the same as the 10k cars. I never saw the point of the hi rpm crap

Just FYI the old Z31 300zx's came in the form of a 200ZR in Japan. It was an RB20 powered Z. I believe you can use that oil pan for an easy RWD swap
