Figured id post this separately from the engine swap thread i had going. Picked this up about 4ish years ago now?

Previous owner is somewhere on here... said he slid it into a ditch on a gravel road, decided to part it out. Meanwhile my 89 conquest was very rusty and i wanted to build another chassis differently, we crossed paths and i picked it up for a couple hundred bucks.

Wow that looks awesome. Came a long way from where it was. If you make it back to the track at Shawno say something I'd like to see it in person.

they are illegal here as well, i think the officers in town spend more time looking at the car going "wt.... is that" than looking at the stickers, also im supposed to have a front plate...

***this is copy pasted from my thread on the engine swappers section, since ill be adding to this now more often.***
So i havent posted in awhile but I got the car back on its feet and out to an event finally. Took it it Brainerd MN for MA Performance's Proving Grounds. My group helps out at the event and runs the drifting portion of the weekend so i was happy to finally have my car there.
Here's a dump of photos from the weeks leading up to the event.

I built a new exhaust because the last one was awful. I dont think it was too bad for my first attempt at exhaust.

Got the handbrake mounted and plumbed. Worked pretty well at the event.

Heres some of the hard fuel line we used. A buddy of mine recommended it for cost savings and i gotta say i really like how easy it is to work with. My buddy has it all over his car for his powersteering cooler set up and fuel lines

You can kinda see the rear subframe swap in this photo.

Photo from the week before the event. I only drove it on the street to get gas, and to work once before trying it out at the track

Heres a video my buddy got on his phone, he didn't really zoom but you get the idea. This was the first tandem with the new setup

So... havent gotten far on investigating the inner structure damage. But ill fix it. Its probably gonna end up with a custom tube front on it now. Luckily i still have another bumper, headlight, fogs, and front lip. i just dont have a fender.. Unsure if itll make it back up and running yet this year. But we'll see.

If there's a positive it looks like you were in need of new bumper anyway - that one looks pretty rusty. Was the lower rad support bent?
