I ordered the linkage bushings and I guess there is limited inventory.  He only showed 7 total for both part numbers.  Thanks again for the those numbers.

Dodge dealers suck. If you can't manage anything from Mitsu then Chrysler would be the best second.

They would have to order the hose. they have them. I got a lower hose from Advance not long ago. Just make sure you tell them you want a molded hose. otherwise I just got a brand new molded one from RockAuto.com on closeout for $4.

Nick: No problem! The TPO ones sound a heck of a lot better than the CF or FPR ones. Keep up the productions!

Finally got the shift linkage bushings installed today and man some of them were a pain.  I also installed the cap, rotor button, wires and plugs and finished up the transmission flush.  There was a lot lot of condensation getting inside the cap.  All the orange stuff is what was left from it.  The plugs were also shot and flooded.  I plan on installing the throttle body rebuild kit along with some of the parts I bought from a local parts guy sometime this week.  Here some of the pictures.  Mitsubishi forgot to give me 1 of my bushings that why only 5 are pictured but I picked it up today.

I should've used a vice, I installed them while they were still on the car.  We have to do them on my friends car next so Ill make sure to just take his linkage off the car.

I am following this thread now. We seem to have the same car. 88 auto non-shp, though mine has aftermarket suspension. We are also both in NC. I have a question/answer thread in the newbie section as well. http://www.starquest...howtopic=140135 trying to get it running correctly right now.

Thats cool to see another NC starquest owner.  Funny thing today I found out that I have a couple of neighbors that own some conquest and I had never seen them before.  They dropped by since you can see mine from the street.

I decided to go ahead and check out the brakes today and from the looks of it seems like there was some work on this car before it was parked.  The rotors have full thickness and pads look great as well.  I will take all four rotors to get them turned to get some of the oxidation off.  Also the bearings look like they were packed and adjusted as well.

I went ahead and went through the tedious job of getting the old bumper off and getting the new one on.  There was a lot of rust on all the brackets that were on the bumper that I bought so it took a while to get them cut off.  Ill finish it up tomorrow.

Who would think you'd have to take out so many things just to get to the spoiler bolts.  I finally got the replacement spoiler installed and now just waiting to find an air dam so that I can get the car to paint.

Got all the brake parts together and decided to get them on the car and out of the way. I did a complete brake flush and got all the decade old fluid out of the system. I also bought a new TEP downpipe and and ordered a Motocam radio/gauge panel that will hopefully come in next week.

Finally all the parts show up

Got the new front & rear rotors, pads and lines installed.

Got a little more work done today.  I took all the wheels off and dropped them of at a tire shop to have the tires taken off so that I can recondition them.  Also got the old downpipe off and started working on the b pipe and welded up a new test pipe.  Luckily I had one that had the O2 bung on it and positioned it for future use for wideband set up.

And I got the new O2 sensor installed on the new downpipe.

Other people explained it to me in the first page.  They said it was probably just the dealer adding different trim and decals.

Picked up the wheels and got to work on them.  Someone used fix-a-flat at some point on one and left a mess behind. I started on grinding it all away because it was not coming off with the pressure washer.  The back of the wheels look a lot better after spraying them down with purple power and pressure washing them.  Ill start working on getting the lips smooth out next week.
