Flyin_By_YOU
did you eliminate your stock fpr when you installed this?

JustPaus_88TSi
I think you'd have to eliminate the stock FPR, the MSD is a inline, so it goes in the return line...If you leave the stock FPR, you'd essentially have two regulators...Right? I've never seen/had/or installed one, so I'm just thinking out loud. (For the FPR)There's three nipples that go into the housing. We need some answers, cause the MSD isn't expensive really.... Flyin_By_YOU
i have it and have not installed it yet. i know that i have the boost compensating unit so i dont really think i need the stock one. if i did leave stock one, i would have two regulators and prolly have twice the pressure....right? no test trials by me yet. n e one who has? eric
barbercb
wrong. You run it behind the stockone. Think about it. The goal is to raise pressure. so the stock one (just for the sake of argument) starts releasing pressure at 30psi. You have the one behind it to start at 40 psi. So the first one opens up and starts letting fuel out, the second one behind it stops the fuel raises the pressure to 40 then lets it out. The first one in that situation just remains open. Kreal
These are a direct bolt-on, right? How much HP will they work with? Does anyone run one of these? Considering buying one. - Paul enginemac1@aol.com
