seanc77339
1. What happens if you block off the farthest and the second farthest nipple on the TB of an 1987 flat-body conquest while leaving only the first one close to the firewall still stock and connected?? Caliber308
First port on the Throttle body towards the front of the car is:Distributor Advance Control Vacuum. (Nipple D) DO NOT REMOVE OR CAP THIS PORT. The Second port is:EGR Valve Control Vacuum. (Nipple E) The third port is:Secondary Air Control Vacuum. ( Nipple M) If you still have the second (Nipple E) and third port (Nipple M) active.Removing the vacuum lines can wreck havoc on you entire system. MikeMeyerhoff
Here is an understandable explanation of the vac system. http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117852&hl=&fromsearch=1 Just disconnecting those lines and leaving everything else might cause some problems with the EGR. You'll need to also cap both blue line feeds to the EGR
