Just out of curiosity, how did you come up with your screen name?

When I first got my 88 Conquest I found a brand new bag of Cape Cod Mesquite BBQ chips (wasn't even close to the expiration date) in the trunk. Apparently some one was hiding comfort food in there away from the husband lol.

87Blue_Beast was my original name. It was started when I bought the car, some of my friends refered to it as the "Blue Beast", even though it was far from it. (Story there was outrunning a stock fox 5.0)

Shortened to 87Blue to seem less like a pompous jerk, then to Blue because, well, everyone here calls me Blue. lol

I didn't want to use my Ebay name but I thought about it. I wanted to pick a name that gave a general idea where I lived. I wasn't too picky about it I suppose I could have just used the zip code + 4 and you'd know right where I live but then someone would start sending me junk in the mail like I joined a porn group or ladies underwear catalogs and I'm just not into that sorry. I raced hpi rs4 (1/10th scale) rc cars alot, and always got my arse handed to me by the serpents (1/8th scale, much bigger motor). So i took a 1/8th scale motor and modified it for the 1/10th scale car, so i became the serpent killa lol. Edited by serpentkilla

Mine is very personal to me, I've been called that since birth. It still gets uses a lot at home to this day, though I've been called "Dad" at home a lot more lately, so I may have to bump the other "Dad" off this site and take that ID over.

I used to snowboard a lot, and at the time I worked at a car audio shop and the manager was also named Mark. The manager thought that it was a PITA to ask "Wade or Adamcyk?" everytime someone called and asked for Mark, so he decided to find a nickname for me. The next day I pulled in to the parking lot in my car with Burton Snowboard stickers and a board on my car, and he said he thought I looked like a Burton snownoard rep, so the name stuck. I became known as Burton in the car community all over town. My business cards even had "Burton" on them. Not Mark "Burton" Wade, but just Burton, like I was Prince or something. Most people think it's my last name LOL.

Long after, I got on the internet and just kept using that nickname.

Bonus points

Mine is a word in another language very few know, and even less are fluent with.

-Robert

Bonus points to those that already knew the word and it's meaning. I got my bonus points...

Google seaches not allowed.

And it's true, few have mastery of that language, and even fewer can spell it, [myself included].
