  1. Thats the same exact one I had back around 95.
  2. I think I am the big winner so far, mine was for $0.04!
  3. The turbo is spinning as it does boost normally. I just checked the shaft play and there is play up and down, sidie to side but no play front to back. The motor was rebuilt probably 7 or 8 years ago but has less than 10K miles on it.
  4. I know my turbo is on its way out, it has some shaft play and now it is blowing out smoke after I am on boost and shift. Recently (before the turbo started smoking) I have noticed my idle doesn't sound right. The idle smoothness feels pretty much the same but I can hear a difference through the 3" exhaust. During acceleration it sounds normal. Is there any chance that the bad turbo can contribute to the idle at all? The following items have been recently replaced, Plugs, wires, cap, rotor and the injector clips. I'd rather not replace the turbo if I may have other engine issues.
  5. Thanks Indiana - The engine does have the BSEK and was supposed to be balanced but I deff. feel some vibration due to the Fidanza flywheel.
  6. Any chance you have the tranny and starter bolts from when you pulled it?
  7. Yesterday my car wouldn't start due to the starter not engaging the flywheel. When I looked underneath the car today, I found that one of the starter bolts was missing and the other was loose which was causing my issue. I also noticed that I am missing a couple of tranny bolts as well. Does anyone know the size, length, thread pitch etc. of the bolts for the tranny and starter? Was hoping to pick them up at a hardware store. Thanks...
  8. I went through the same thing and wanted to have matching tires for the front and rear SHP's. I picked up the front 225/50/16 Fuzion ZRI's a couple of years ago since the that was the only reasonable street tire that I could match in the 245/45/16 rear. I don't have many miles on the fronts and I just picked up the rears a week ago. So far I am very happy with them and I think the rears hook up very well. The one thing I don't like about the rears is that it looks slightly stretched on the rim. Here is a pic to check them out. http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/Fuzion1.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/Fuzion2.jpg
  9. The meet that you did the t-shirts for was Pete Yack Y2K meet. I still wear my "DRAMA" shirt all of the time... Here are some pics from that meet: http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/y2k4.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/y2k11.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/y2k7.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/y2k6.jpg
  10. It was definitely a good time back then. That was a bunch of girls ago and I have a new hottie to bring this time! Still have the same car, it was very clean but having a lot of downtime and sitting wasn't good to the body, it's got some cancer on the 1/4's etc. I have had it since 96 and can't let it go. It's still running strong but I just need to take care of some sensor issues to get it running perfect. Hopefully I'll come across a clean roller that I can get some body parts from. It would be great to meet up with everyone again...
  11. Do you guys remember this meet? http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/etown1.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/etown2.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10060/etown3.jpg I think this was back in 99 or so before Pete's big Y2K meet. This was the first meet that I attended with Fuze, Mark, Juve and myself. It's good to still see you guys around.
  12. Thats funny I had the same exact one minus the louvers for my first car....84 TurboZ. I don't know if mine was stock or not but I still say it will give a stock starquest a run for it's money! I will have to try get a pic scanned in.
  13. Is it a 5spd? If so how many miles and what kind of condition is it in? If you won't ship would you be willing to meet half way from Suffolk County LI?
