85starion Posted August 2, 2006 Report Share Posted August 2, 2006 Hey i just got my hands on a fully race buildt VG30DETT that was producing 1203rwhp in a 1995 300ZX and I want to put this into my 1985 Starion flat body (the only one to get wide body looks stupid) but can it be done and is there any kits anyone produces to do this swap thanks. fixture Posted August 30, 2006 Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 That will be a tight fit. I had a 93 twin turbo and the turbos get very close to the firewall even on a Z. You cant get your hand anywhere in that engine. I had 450hp and the car was great. Smooth engine, quick spool up, very nice. I would love to see you do this. MontyTSI Posted August 30, 2006 Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 your asking if there is a kit to put a nissan tt in a quest? i have now seen it all i personally dont think there is enough room to do it, scotty and i put his TT motor in his z and the engine compartment is quite a bit larger than the quest (the engine was designed to fit in that car) not the other way around.
