Anyone use this kit when upgrading their wires for a Bosch 044 or Walbro 255? I know it's says it's for DSM's.

Looks like they used thicker feed wire and ground but the relay wiring looks small.  If your running a new 10g feed wire the relay wiring should be 10g too.

You don't need a kit you can make your own.  Those automotive relays are only a couple bucks.  Then you need crimp terminals and wire.  Use the factory pump wiring to activate the relay.  A 10ga wire from the battery is fine.  Ground the pump on the frame.  On my car I ran a 4ga wire to the trunk.  Overkill for this purpose but I had the wire and I wanted the option for future upgrades like battery in the trunk or stereo amps.

FYI this mod helps stock pumps too.

I rewired the pump on my DSM and I just went to Radio Shack and bought a relay and a large spool of 10ga wire.  Not sure that you really buy a kit like that unless you're after the electrical connector.

Over all you will save money parting the pieces together.
But

That’s not too bad a price for all that you need in one purchase.

Yeah a lot of the DSM guys have used this kit. I thought it would be good enough for our cars too.

The relay pictured in the kit is a standard 20-30 amp automotive relay.  Every parts store will have that relay for around $5.

I just did a re-wire on my A1000 pump. I used to have the 30amp relay turned on by the tec2. Then power was sent via the test port on the passenger side of the engine bay. Now i run a 70amp relay with 8ga from the battery to the relay. Then 8ga from the relay to the pump. Turn on or switched is still from the tec2 and sent through the test port wire.
