I didn't realize this before, NAPA offers a one year guarantee , On an electrical part ???

I'm pretty sure prices and availability may differ by area, but it looks as though you can order it on line.

I looked through the parts locator no luck. I had it wrote down can't find that either. Thanks guys

Right, sorry about that, the illustration is in the Engine Group 9,

but there is a note to refer you to Electrical Group 8 , and either it was omitted ,

or a page is missing from the catalog.

MD069879 $46.49 from the Mitsu. dealer

Bill

Good Job Cal, which dealer did you get that price from ?

In the CAPS parts look-up, looks like 7 different Mitsubishi vehicle models (25 sub-models) used the same part.

So any Mitsu Dealer (theoretically) should be able to order it if not have it in stock on the shelve.

vehicle codes that use MD069879:

PCN #10803 Group 14, 120

(MIRAGE 1500,1600,1600DOHC) C52A, C53A, C62A, C63A,

(ECLIPSE 1800,2000 non-turbo) D21A, D22A, D27A,

(GALANT/SIGMA V6 3000), E18A,

(GALANT 2000DOHC 2WD,4WD,4WD-4WS) E33A, E38A, E39A,

(TRUCK "Mighty Max" 2000,2400,2600,3000 V6 2WD,4WD) K02T, K03T, K05T, K13T, K15T,K23T, K26T, K33T, K36T,

(MONTERO 2600,3000 V6 (- Excluding, LONG WAGON) L042G, L141G, L146G,

(VAN,WAGON 2400) P04V, P04W

"ecu coolant temp sensor" or "cts" is the vertically mounted sensor with two blades in the shape of a T. from personal experience, i would only buy oem. ive got one sitting here but unfortunately i cant find the part number. ill edit shortly.

I would prefer the OEM from the dealer also.

Have you had any experience with the "Echlin Ignition" brand ? w/ a 12 month warranty???,

With the dealership you take it out of the package or install it,

or for most dealers you just walk out the door and it's "no return policy on electrical parts"
