  1. That's an HKS style filter, and from hks they are like 150 or 200 bucks or something just rediculous. And, if they made a 2.5" maf, maybe that would be better for the stock setup, since the TB inlet is only 2" or less anyway. Draw through is fine, and as long as there aren't any leaks, its just as good, if not better.
  2. Strange looking corrado ya got there. Do the slicks help?
  3. If your magna came with a fuel rail, you need to make sure it has the plastic standoffs (spacers) for the mounts. You can get those off of any eclipse 2.0, probably 1.8, whatever, but they are like spacers with dowels on the top and bottom to space and align the rail mounts. free.99 when you pocket them at the junkyard. You can use whatever injectors you want, but for a larger than stock turbo you'd want at least 550cc (I think new evo's have those stock). When you set up the EMS, you might be able to calibrate for whatever size injectors you have. You'll need gaskets or rtv, I would get a stock mitsu manifold flange gasket, and the others will probably need to be made by you, unless you like searching for hard to get items from australia. You need to figure out coolant lines for the magna, sensors like water temp, air intake temp, map sensor (which on megasquirt is on the ecu). Don't bother building the ecu yourself in the case of MS, just have them do it, I bought an MS2 and built it myself, and tried it on a couple cars with little success, the more "plug'n'play" it is, the easier for you. Once, the intake side is done then you need boost tubes, couplers, maybe some large hole saw and drill to get the new, larger pipes to the IC. You can just get the stock one modified. 2.5" pipes fit on it because it's about 2.5" thick. Just get stubby's welded on and make the rest of your tubes. Then, run the wires, make sure you set the base timing, offset and all that stuff then start it, then trailer it to a dyno tuning shop and pay them 500 bucks for a decent tune. Done.
  4. I'm sure you are in the 300whp club on a cool day. Don't worry about that, after all it's just a number at a certain rpm, which you probably aren't at, most of the time. I'd get a 292 just so I could get more top end power and a cool sounding idle.
  5. That's an aussie based website. Cordia's are rare around here. "Here" being the united states.
  6. No, but they are great anyway. You can get MLS for the g54b though. Search around, I can't remember any web sites for it.
  7. I've always wanted a flatsider with a 4g63 in it. It's a perfect candidate for aftermarket wheels, because you can find a lot that will fit, unlike the widebody where it's hard to find good, cheap wheels that have the right offset.
  8. It wouldn't smoke from a small leak like that. Sounds nice though.
  9. Use a dremel. Take a little off the tps plug, and a little off the vac. advance.
  10. Don't worry about a 2 step, just let the air out of your tires. I did that and went from 35+ to 20 an the wheel hop basically disappeared. I think 15 psi would even be better.
  11. You don't need to upgrade the block, but maybe the pistons and rods. But as long as you run it rich with the tbi, it'll be fine. if it were MPI i'd suggest leaning it out.
  12. I don't recommend using the cork style gasket "paper". It is difficult to work with. I would also suggest using just rtv.
