indy_85stariones
I just learned that those old IBM Model M keyboards (with buckling springs) are still available. IBM spun-off their desktop PC products to Lexmark, who then sold the technology to make durable keyboards to Unicomp. http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/ http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/keyboards.html 101 keys http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/cus101usenon.html 101 keys plus Windows and Mouse Menu keys http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/customizer.html http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/en104bl.html 104 Keys plus mouse http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net/en104wh.html
Komeuppance
Heh... I love my IBM keyboard that I got from my old high school. Nice and clicky... hella noisy. No where near worth 69 bux though. It's my garage computer, because I know it's solid. You could scour local Goodwills, I bet they have one there. I just bought a never used IBM keyboard(newer style) for $2.50... ha. It's considerably nicer than the fancy LED Saitek keyboard I paid $50 for... just doesn't have the fancy lights. -Robert

MikeMeyerhoff
I have one on my server. Its from an old XT and the cord is 8' long unstretched (stretches to like 12'). The tabs that hold the cord into the keyboard were broke long ago, but it holds by friction only. Thats engineering. mm
