Skullzaflare
First run I ran a 13.46@101mph, 2nd pass 13.49@101mph, 3rd wastegate tube came off and broke up 15.1, 4th pass 13.39@102, final pass 13.33@107 All 60ft right around 1.86-1.89Standard Firestone 225/50 rear tires No spinning leaving at 3500
Funky Phil
those are good 60's for standard street tread. On those tires, its best not to spin much because they cant recover like a drag compound. 107 is good for 12's. Whats the setup details? Funky Phil
yeah, you just want to clean off street tires, not heat. So, Head/Cam/ebay turbo/MS and you have a 12sec capable TBi car. Well done! get some better tires.
JAinsworth
^^ What Phil said...street tires, spin them over once to clean them. If you heat them up them lose traction. I also found running street tires, recommended psi worked better than dropping them down.
Skullzaflare
I never had any traction issues between this one or red conquest lol

If no one buys it I might bring it again. I've honestly lost intrest in it though. I'm enjoying my mustang much better. Ac and boost is a wonderful thing. Funky Phil
Well, what are the pistons you ordered? I have a used set of dished wiseco's that might be able to help you out.
Funky Phil
Also, not to rub salt, but did you "bell" ( =< ) the vac port and ziptie it or was it just slid on? I bell and zip all vac ports for this exact reason.

Are they 30 over? I ordered a cheap set flat tops with chrome rings, just to get the car running, it's been down for 2 weeks, and I've been borrowing carsAlthough I do have a standard block but it needs a crank, oil pump, and rods (only got 3) Also, not to rub salt, but did you "bell" ( =< ) the vac port and ziptie it or was it just slid on? I bell and zip all vac ports for this exact reason.I've never belled anything however everything is super glued and zip tied
