techboy Posted April 1, 2015 Report Share Posted April 1, 2015 I still think the "crankwalk" issue is somewhat blown out of proportion ... I have owned a DSM for over 15 years now, been to hundreds of meets, track events, and car shows and have yet to meet an actual fellow dsm'er who personally had a crankwalk issue. And there might not be,,, but the bearings are skimpier,,,i believe so are the head studs. 11mm vs 12mm? I know they are on the 63,, not sure on the 64 for me personally I'll stick with a 6 bolt....I've never heard a guy with an early eclipse bragging up saying "I just did a 7 bolt swap".
