MotoCam360
I set Chassispuke's (Edgar) black SQ up with an aluminum air diversion panel at Mesquite 3 this past weekend. He was asking me specifically about the cooling benefits the air panel brings to the engine bay and I told him that we didn't have hot enough weather in WA to provide any dramatic temp drop claims, so he put it to the test driving back home from Mesquite to Compton in some 85+ degree weather with some steep steep hills: "the air deflector i got from u in mesquite did work , i got all the scientific proof u need. temp in car never went past half way and only in the really steep inclines. HELL I EVEN RAN THE A/C FOR A LONG STRETCH. Now i need another for my silver quest thanx." http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc409/motocam360/SQ%20Air%20Diversion%20Panel/EdgarsblackSQ_zpsa89eecb8.jpg http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc409/motocam360/SQ%20Air%20Diversion%20Panel/Edgarsairdiversioninstall_zpsc3bbf532.jpg Edited September 26, 2013 by MotoCam360

CarlosFley
Hmm so this actually has benefits? It's not just for looks?
MotoCam360
Yes it actually forces more air to pass through the radiator and keep the engine cooler, as opposed to the incoming air taking the path of least resistance and flowing up and over the radiator. Talk to Chassispuke (Edgar), who experienced significant engine temp drop on the drive home from Mesquite to Southern Cali after installing our aluminum panel at the show.
