  3. Help me - Help you. I'll tell you everything about Nitrous Oxide & using N20 on a G54B.. The "Wet Fogger" system I'am using at the current jet setting of (N20: .047# / Fuel: .028) -or- **100HP** should only be at 100% once above 3,200 rpm & with my Clearwater cyl head my static compression has been lowered so I can safely get away with 16G turbo @ 18-20 psi + 100hp Nitrous using fuel oct of only 93+OCT (but higher is better!) **Tips / Tricks** 1. EGT & IGN timing curve: the best info needed when using N20 is your Exhaust temp and the most ign timing possible to help keep your exhaust temp perfect. 2. Nirtrous Bottle Heater: the biggest problem i have is keeping the A/F ratio from going Rich-A/F ratio when ever the bottle temp drops. 3. The last thing is how to make your own throttle switch for the Nitrous, Its something I can only tell you was a very "home made" deal for me.. (ps: the throttle switch is only needed for NHRA/IHRA tracks) [ftp]http://www.robietherobot.com/NitrousJetCalculator.htm[/ftp]
  4. Iam using the stock fuel reg w/ Nitrous, i removed the allen screew plug in the rear of the fuel log for my Nitrous fuel supply.
  5. The lowest *safe* rpm to spray a 50hp shoot would be above 2,800-3,000+ rpm (higher the safer). Now about the boost jumping problem, lets use the 50hp jetting which would always jump to 15-16psi but lets say my base boost setting was already above the magic 15-16hp the 50hp jetting i would have very little boost jump on top of 16psi (1psi maybe).. Now lets jump one step upto a 75hp jetting, now I found the lowest base boost is 17psi. (bigger the Nitrous hp - higher the base boost) This is all being done on a *TEP adj wastegate* 16G, the only way to fix the Nitrous - boost jump problem is to get a External wastegate turbo upgrade.. 6. There's only maybe two things I can help with(but please feel free to ask me anything), first is the problem of the *Boost jump* w/ Nitrous, (50hp shoot will jump 2-4psi from base boost setting).. The second thing is the lowest rpm which youll be able to spray the amount of nitrous your looking for, higher the hp shoot = higher the lowest safe rpm..(exp: 75hp @ 3,000 rpm - lowest *safe* rpm) (-/+) [ftp]http://www.robietherobot.com/NitrousJetCalculator.htm[/ftp]
  7. Do I hear the call for a *Test Mule*?? I have your "Monstra Banshee" cam still in the package if we could do a straight up trade, I would be the happest camper around if you would allow me to run something a little more "Wild"... [ftp]http://63.251.78.219/GLSQC/mem_Boostquest.htm[/ftp]
  8. For the help of the StarQuest Family(you & myself) I will start this deal of Wiseco piston sale for the sake of us. Complete forged piston w/rings 7:1 vs. 8:1 (same price) > $361 [ftp]http://www.summitracing.com[/ftp] .015 overbore > WIS-K555M92 .035 overbore > WIS-K555M925
  9. Has anyone talked with *Otis @ Midwest turbo* about this piston GP or are we trying to get factory direct from Wiseco? Also this may be a good time to ask who's in control of this GP? At this time the best bang for the buck is buying from *Summitracing - Forged Wiseco : $360* (so again tell me what will a set of 4-piston cost by doing this GP)??
  10. Molybdenum Ring set is the best & adding a Ceramic Coating has been tested with great success.. Now your only second option(yes there's two sides to ever coin) is to upgrade with the Moly- Total Seal gapless ring set but look into a CrankCase Vac. Pump system when your working with a Forced Induction motor which may see little to no engine vac. time(aka: Lead Foot drivers like myself) *Total Seal + Vac Pump PVC system* [ftp]http://63.251.78.219/GLSQC/mem_Boostquest.htm[/ftp]
  11. [ftp]http://63.251.78.219/GLSQC/images/Nick_port/DSC03707.JPG[/ftp] *Nitrous + Oct Booster* what else do you need?
  12. SummitRacing sells the 7:1 Forged Wiseco Pistons complete for $360 [ftp]http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=search.asp&type=bysummitpart&searchtype=both&part=WIS-K555M92[/ftp]
  13. Well I have to stand by my work, so all I can say is you dudes havent seen the last of Dr.NitroNick in action!
