Do USA delivered starions get the factory tow point? Mounts to the chassis rail and pokes out next to the intercooler. Looks very similar to what pure_insanity has, just a bit higher and in the intercooler opening, not the 'brake' duct.

The Official SQC Wheel Thread

No spacers. Heaps of clearance on the inside of the rear wheels to strut. I reckon I could run 11" wide with a +5 offset would be just about perfect. But it may be a bit too wide compared to fronts. Front is about as wide as I'd like to go without worrying about rubbing and ruining bodywork. I use coil-over springs. -

Simmons FR18. Sadly no longer being made. One of the last Aussie wheel companies. -

MPI intake - Aussie style
MrBishi2.6 replied to MrBishi2.6's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
No how to. It's only a couple of rod-ends with a couple of dodgy brackets. I need it due to tight clearances in the engine bay, but surprisingly doesn't add too much to NVH. Though bear in mind it is a stripped out loud & rough vehicle anyway. -

Agree 100%. You will note that I have no room for a mech water pump, hence need for electric pump, thus I don't need to worry about the thermostat housing. The TR inlet has the larger diameter runners that lend themselves well to being shortened. They also come with the nicer extruded ally fuel rail. -
Thought this might inspire you foreigners to do something similar. This is an intake I made that is based on a TR magna. Uses internal bellmouths and a Chev LS1 throttle body. Also note the 'short' 4" intake pipe - yes that is the intercooler you can just see. No it isn't a Starion bay, but a '76 Mitsi Lancer (similar to Dodge Colt). http://www.sigma-galant.com/modules/gallery/albums/album66/intake.jpg

4G63 TRANNY ADAPTER? PLEASE HELP
MrBishi2.6 replied to 95silvia's topic in Engine and Performance Mods
The bellhousing I spoke of is most definetly the narrow bolt pattern. I myself used one of these bellhousing to bolt to a narrow 2.6 in my own supra gbox conversion. -
4G63 TRANNY ADAPTER? PLEASE HELP
MrBishi2.6 replied to 95silvia's topic in Engine and Performance Mods
The 2.6 to supra conversion can indeed be used for the smaller 4G63. Check out Heefners similar post http://www.starquestclub.com/index.pl?boar...;num=1094040392 What CRS do is make a sandwitch plate that sits between a factory belhousing and the supra box. Now the bellhousing is an Aus only spec and can be found in either 2.6 (4G54) or 2.0 (4G52). Now the belhousing bolt pattern is the same 4G52 & 4G63 so all it would mean is they need to source the smaller belhousing. heefner had pics that may explain it better. In summary when speaking to CRS ask for the bellhousing from a '2 Litre GH-GJ Sigma' combined with their plate will do exactly what you need. -
Good to see it worked out Heefner. Not all supra boxes use the same bellhousing bolt pattern. W5x series are all the same. R154 (7M turbo box) is bigger and different bolt arrgt. V160/161 (2J turbo box) is different bolt arrgt again. The pick of the boxes for ease of fitment IMHO would be a gen 2 W58 out of N/A JZA80 supras.

Model range is TN/TM/TP which ran from approx 1986 to 1989. Then the magna changed to TR/TS 1989-1993?? which are a nicer manifold but unfortunately wont fit under your bonnets. Hope this helps
