I bought this clean low mileage car 8 years ago because I wanted to do the perfect Starion 4G6x swap.  I had done 4 other swaps and helped with dozens of others on the website I created to help everyone do RWD 4G63 swaps: www.ProjectZeroG.com .  My vision was "How Mitsubishi would have built a DOHC Starion... with a bit of polish"

This is the culmination of everything I've learned over 15 years working on Starion 4G63 swaps.  There is so much tiny details done on this it's hard to describe.  Lots of OEM parts from different makes / models / cars / trucks / international models that tie it all together.  This was intended to be my masterpiece.

I really don't want to sell my masterpiece, but I can't really work on it here in Baltimore City as it's only street parking.  I could put it in a garage for $200 / month, but then what would I actually make when I sold it one day?  I also can't insure it for what I feel its worth because I don't have a 2nd vehicle nor a garage.  This is a bigger liability for me than it is an asset.  This is what is leading me to this sale.

I've been driving it to work recently and it starts and runs without fail.  I haven't gone over 7psi yet as I'm still buttoning it up, but the same basic build in my racecar made 340hp at 14psi.  Full boost by 3000rpm.  Should be able to do 20psi once broken in and shaken down.

Price will go up as I button up things.  Right now the center console is out as I'm about to swap in the spare transmission w/ the relocated shifter.  I'll be installing the spares over the next 6 months and I'll bump the price up each time.  Also on the docket is heater core hoses, lifters, torque tube.

Save money now and do that work yourself if you want.  I'll work with you.  I'll probably give you lots and lots of other SQ and performance parts as I'm trying to clear out my decades long collection of parts.

Willing to trade for a late model Dodge/Mercedes Sprinter van

That maroon dash is probably the one thing between me and a divorce    Swapped one long ago and swore I'd never do it again.  Loving the car though.

Finished up a 4G64 build for Brandon Martin (Pr4mnceman.....miss seeing him around) years ago and it was consistent 11's car with drag radials and FP Red turbo.  Said I'd own one eventually but alas never happened.

I had it 90% out to restore the heater box internals, but because I had to drive the thing to work 6 hours later, I opted to save that dash swap for later.  Part of me just wants to put a fuzzy dash over over it, but I can't bring myself to sell a car for 5 figures with a covered up problem.

Finally got around to swapping transmissions and moving the shifter forward so it fits in with the stock center console and boot.  Also added a few layers of rubber, aluminum, and insulation and it keeps the sound from coming in through the trans tunnel.  Now it's just a mean MEAN bark from the tailpipe... and wastegate dump :-D.

It is nice to have it all back together finally.  Haven't really gotten to rip on it with the old transmission, but this one I can rev to the moon without vibration.  Old trans had a bad input bearing if the buyer wants it for a rebuild, it is included.

Here are some pics with the interior back together.

Passenger seat has one seam that is popped.  And the dash is pretty sun damaged, but I am including a spare black dash which I plan on using to make a black/maroon 2 tone look.  Get it before I do that work and save some money.

As I said in the first post, as I put things back together, the price goes up.  Price as it sits now is $10,000.
