  5. Hey Chris you must be a tall guy. They are the ones who usually need it bent back a little. to do so is no problem. Take a very wet towel remove the boot and shift knob, wrap the base of the shifter and the consol with the towel have a buddy heat the shaft while you are sitting in the car and pull it to were you like it. unfortunately we it was not be cost affective to make all the parts to build a complete shifter so we have to kill the OE one for parts. occasionaly we come across spare shifters and keep them but i dont have any right now to sell for spares. glad you like the kit. Bill
  6. Josh yes the original shifters were to reuse the OE ball. But because they dicintegrated with age we had to have them. They are not a serviceable part by mitsubishi like the little bushing at the bottom of the shaft. Bill
  7. AHHA ! You are correct. The pivot ball is not part of the parts list because the first 10 shifters that where done in 1993 did not contain the pivot ball. we soon learned that on higher mileage cars the OE pivot ball was broke up and was gone so on the second run of shifters we started making the pivot ball and supplying it with the kit. As you have pointed out I did not update the parts list and this is the first time it has been brought to my attention. You get an A+ for paying attention. Lurker. The final bunch went out Saturday morning I am not sure if yours went then or earlier in the week. Bill
  8. Hey Josh. Did you really get confused or did your brain just freeze up from the cold. ;D Glad you liked it. Bill

  12. Finally they are here. Thanks for all the patience you guys have shown. The parts are in the country and have cleared customs. they are being sent to me tommorow. I should receive them early in the week and heave them packed and start shipping by Friday if not sooner. Bill
  13. I have been doing Haltech since 1992 with the F7 I have only seen 1 failure of a haltech box and it was caused by the owner who allowed a heater core leak in the car to get it wet. Haltech replaced teh board and some other stuff and only charged me $165.00 in 1995 when the F9 cost $600.00 for just the ECU. Neil the box in my car/ your car now was bought and installed in 1996 I think 97 at the latest. Bill
  14. Hope every body had a good turkey day. I did not consider the holiday on the 10/28 and cant get to the supplier till tommorow but a comunication was made to me last wednsday that they were complete and had left the facility and should have been no more than a day or 2 in customs. but I should no tommorow. Bill
  15. Update I have the bushings the pins the gaskets the instructions packs and the hardware. I am awaiting the plate and shaft. I was told on friday that they would be in my hands in 10 working days wich means November 28. or I can cancel my order and get a refund. I can't do that cause I am already in this for all the money I spent on the other stuff so I have to wait even if they fail to deliver when they say. But if I can not deliver by Monday December 1st. Any one who wants a refund will glady get it imediatly. I am sorrry for the delays but sometimes people just dont follow through like they say and the dissapointment just goes down the line. I am as distressed as all of you with the supplier but I am at their mercy for the moment but you do not have to be. Thanks Bill
