  1. In light of some new information provided by Mark, I am updating the original post. Thanks Mark!
  2. Slowquest is right, the previous owner resprayed it and I believe the original color is red. Also, the Quest is complete with all drivetrain, glass, interior, motor, and all body parts. The car was never parted out and it actually has some upgrades. Thanks for the respones guys!
  3. I know this is a cliche heard a lot on this board, but it is time once again to say that I am parting with my sentimental project. 1988 Chrysler Conquest Starion 5 speed non-SHP non-sunroof Car will need to be towed or winched with trailer. I am not going to waste your time, so don't waste mine. Please PM me or email at starquest1900@mail.com with "88 Starquest" in your title, or I will not respond. $1,600 OBO, all offers with cash in hand only considered. On local Craigs: http://sanantonio.cr...3690217073.html
  4. FORGOTENSTAR, I have a set of Art's 1st generation coil-over kit, brand new in the box, that I can sell you. Also, I live in SA so you don't have to worry about shipping (just looking out for a fellow SA Quest owner). Let me know if you are interested.
  5. Slobodan, please keep us posted on your possible swap. I am also very interested in swapping to a Diesel powerplant. Not to jump on the Biodiesel or "green" bandwagon, but just because it has a more efficient power and reliable torque curve. Also, it would be awesome to have the sound of a freight train while driving my StarQuest. I am not familiar with the specs on a VW powerplant, though I have looked at the possibility of a Mercedes powerplant for my project. Good Luck!
  6. Great looking StarQuest Jtmuncher! I am happy to see another Quest here in San Antonio, especially one with the amount of work you have put into it. I just wish I had the time and money to make my mine perform like yours.
  7. Sorry for the interruption guys . . . though how about a 1-piece rear hatch. One all carbon fiber hatch with NO glass and a separate option of replacing the side quarters with a pre-cut CF pieces. This is only as weight reduction option, just like a CF door replacements would be. I know this will create a problem for every day driving since you will not be able to see outside of the vehicle, but as stated before, these pieces would be intended for weekend racers or who ever would like to place their Starquest on a diet.
  8. **Update** 1st Gen ART coil-over sleeve kit is still available. Also, the Maroon Conquest is still for sale (see the Cars for Sale section).
