  1. Josh was a pleasure to deal with. Kept in good contact and shipped the item real fast. I sent him a MO on Thursday and by Wednesday of the following week, the part was on my car. It was exactly as described. Thanks Josh
  2. Purchased a set of fuel injectors from Oscar...he said they came with a warranty to be good....and he kept his word. For some odd reason, the primary injector continued to leak. He promptly sent a replacement that seems fine. He even followed up with a phone call. He says he's not happy until you are happy and he means it !! Thanks Oscar
  3. As promised, I'm posting an updated status. I'm pleased to report that the items that the seller says was shipped out on the evening of 9/18 (but post marked 9/22 ??) were received on 9/24. The seller also include an extra that was not in the original deal. Unfortunately, I was forced to obtain the parts from a different source before I was finally informed that they were "shipped" so now I have a excess stock. None-the-less, I did get what I paid for but not when I needed it.
  4. So is communication and honesty. He said you would send it on the following Tuesday 9/7. Weather was bad later in the week. None-the-less if that was going to slow things up, an email and/or a PM would have been ALL that was necessary. But that DIDN'T happen. I continued to send email and PMs that went unanswered yet I could see that user was active posting in other forums. What can I say, 9/4 to 9/20 with no contact to numberous emails and PMs shows patience wouldn't you think ?
  5. On 9/4 he PMed me: hi, I just got the mo friday.I willl ship horns tuesday morning. thanks That tuesday was 9/7. Its now 9/20 I have requested my money back. Please return my money NOW. I'm tired of waiting..I had to get them somewhere else I have email and PMed this guy every day for the past week and have received NO response. Buyer beware with this seller. I'll keep posting with an updated status.
  6. Well sorry to say that I am having a similar experience. I send a money order that he said he received. Since that time, I have sent emails and PMs to get the status of the order, a tracking number or something but so far, no further communication. I still expect that things will work out however my patience are wearing thin as I can't get the car inspected until I get those parts.
  7. I need an uncracked exhaust manifold. Ken had one. He went the extra effort to send pics to multiple places since my free email was full. We agreed on the price. He assured me it was not cracked and it not was as promised. He kept in email contact, let me know when the money got there, again when it shipped...quickly. Great guy to deal with. Thanks Ken.

  9. Willmoodon hooked me up with some parts. He is rather new to starquests and working hard to save another one from the crusher...and has helped me
  10. For various reason....mostly funding problems, I was in the market for an OEM exhaust to replace the non-existing exhaust on my Quest. A few responded but Chromepuff won the low bid, requesting only shipping money. Here is a extract from some emails: "I have dissasembled most of the exhaust, but i ran into a problem. the center section that holds the downpipe section to the intermediate secton will not come unbolted. i have tried WD-40, heat-valve lubricant, even a torch. and it won't budge. .... i will bring the pipe over to my friends house to try his impact wrench. i will let you know further details....But don't loose faith quite yet, i will keep trying untill tonight, and then i will let you know either way. thanks for being patient! " Despite his efforts, those pipes would not budge. In the mean time, Mark V at StarquestRims.com set me up with everything but the muffler and Chromepuff (andrew) provided me with the muffler...and a refund to boot. What a great pair of guys. Have no fear or concern when dealing with Chromepuff. Thank you Andrew for all you effort.
  11. I have to agree. I bought an item from her. She shipped it before I even sent the payment. The part was exactly in the condition that she described. Looking to do more with her.
  12. I was fortunate enough to purchase drgns88Quest that died. Since my initial contact with him through post sale, he has been honest and willing to help. Because I was one of the first to contact him when he decided to sell, he gave me first choice. He held the car and worked with me go get it shipped up north. I hope things change and he is able to return as a starquest owner. When he does, please support and help this guy.
  13. What else can one say about Mark. I just bought a dead quest. Because I am a Maryland resident, I have to pass emissions. My quest was cat less. Mark came to my house, brought me most of an exhaust system and some other parts, looked over my quest, and gave me some pointers. All for FREE...what a great guy. He has even offered to help me too. Wish all businesses were this way. Mark is a great guy. No doubts my Quest will run again..Thanks Mark
