Anyone know of a good machine shop in the midwest? I need to find someone who has a g54b torque plate for boring and honing. Also maybe some port work on the head. I used TEP the last few times. The quality of the work was fine but, as many on here know, very expensive and shipping all the way to CA and back isn't cheap.

Thanks

Not sure about Midwest  if you want it done right Engine Machine Service is the right place. In Niles OH. Shipping may suck but quality is top notch and best service around. Randy knows his g54b inside out and what needs done for proper operation. Highly recommend it!

I'm in Nebraska so, unfortunately, that is over 900 miles from me. I was hoping for a one day round trip.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.
