  1. Ok guys; once again sorry for the delay...but here are the rest of the tracking numbers: Ivan G: cx058031752ca John M: cx058031695ca (bar) Thomas F: cx058031664ca (bar) Shaun S: cx058031718ca (bar) I want to thank you all again for a successfull and smooth group buy...you guys rock...
  2. I'm not arguing that point whatsoever; believe me...I'm 100% into supporting the home team. I would be defending someone in the supra community too if some 'outsider' came in my forum and started 'bashing him/her'. I'm also into saving people money; I am a parts consumer myself and understand this 100% However owning the patents on a product; being on the home team and providing wrong information on a product that somebody else is offering are 2 different things IMHO. The few of you who have talk to me on occassion about the cusco group buy will know I'm very easy going and for me this was a matter of principle...not sales. Whether I sell one kit or not doesn't concern me; I just think the whole situation could have been handled better...perhaps even by me. Cheers.
  3. You're 100% right...14" brakes along with the increased weight of the rotating mass from the required 18" rims/rubber would be totally unnecessary. Generally speaking HP is not always the crucial factor when calculating the necessary braking force to stop a car...it's the actual weight of the car that needs to be factored in. Now I'm not sure what your cars weigh; but I can almost 100% guarantee you that anything over 13" in the front is total overkill and completely unnecessary. I personally think that anywhere in between 12" and 13" in the front is perfect for your car...i'd hazard to say that 13's are even overkill.
  4. Oscar...not being one who creates conflict on a forum I have stayed out of this thread; but I feel for the benefit of the members of this site I have to clarify a few key points. I apologize in advance to the members but I don't like when people are misinformed... If the definition of hijacking a thread is distracting people from the current topic and focusing their attention on another topic then you did hijack the thread. I feel as a responsible retailer you should have started your own post; that way the members would be able to compare the products/offers side by side...in the end this can only benefit the consumer which is what this is all about anyway. I'm sorry but the way I see it all you have done here is create confusion. You are 100% correct on this; the 12.81" kit gives people who already have bigger rims the option of going with a bigger rotor. If you read Shaun's posts properly you would realize that the $1199(-15%) is for the 11.88" kit and the $1299(-15%) is for the 12.81" kit...there is no better deal from PBC. I really wish you did your research before you came on this post and gave people the wrong information. I actually called PBC and spoke my sales rep and the engineers there to see what was available. A simple email/phone call on your part could have avoided a lot of confusion because your statement is 100% NOT TRUE. Please read my above statement; there is no up front costs as the kit is already in production. Honestly...and no offense Oscar I think your lack of researching this yourself has only confused people as now they have no idea what is available or not. If anyone has any question on this kit please feel free to pm/email me or ask on here...email addy is: george@raptorracing.com. Again; I apologize for creating drama on your peaceful forum guys...I just wanted to clarify some points...have a great day. Thanks.

  7. I couldn't have said it better. I can not stress enough guys that the 2 month timeframe is a best case scenario. If someone promises you that they can get 15 of these in the country in 2 month I would run far away. Complications always come up when you are directly importing these things. I'm not telling you guys this to scare you away; I want to be honest with you all; I'd rather be honest now then listen to 20guys PO'd cause their cars are waiting parts...thanks again.
  8. Hey guys; first off sweet site you have here; I've always loved the starions...mainly cuase they look identical to the 2nd generation Supra...keep up the good work. Thanks Shaun for posting this; sorry I haven't had time to come on till now...been busy. I just wanted to add a few things. Not to complicate things; but if this group buy is a go then i highly suggest people hold off on payment till at least Suan comes up with a deadline...reason being is that the price fluctuates as the numbers go up. Second; I realize that the timeframe looks long; but much like the 2nd gen supra nobody has 15 of these lying around in a warehouse unfortunately. This is the price our two groups have to pay for having such a rare car. I've gone through the liberty of checking my Tein catalog and there is no camber plate option from them in their U.S. catalog for the starion. If you guys who are considering the group buy have any question please don't hesitate to ask...no matter how trivial they may seem. I'm a buyer of parts too and I like to know that my money is well spent...so ask away; my email address is: george@raptorracing.com Thanks for your time...hope I didn't bore you guys too much....ciao.
